Subject: Passenger adjustable camera and fixed "drive by" camera - sugestion for the MSTS Team
Hello, MSTS team. It's great that Train Simulator 2 is back on the tracks again. Now, I know it's a bit early, but I do have a sugestion, that fans such as myself will find interesting. The adjustable camera. What it means is that the standard camera position (passenger view) to be adjusted inside a passenger car. Using a combination of keys (let's say something like Alt or Ctrl) and then moving with the right/left mouse button or keyboard on the XYZ axis, to set the camera position wherever you'd like, during gameplay. For example if you could move that camera outside the car, and putting it down to the wheels, while still looking outwards. Also, the fixed "drive by" cam. In MSTS1 you couldn't actually follow the entire train as it passed by, because the camera kept changing all the time. Making the camera fixed, would certainly thrill train fans who love the sight of a long train passing by.

Thank you for writing to the Microsoft Train Simulator team.
Suggestions are always welcome, so please feel free to continue sending them. Please be aware, however, that at this point in the development of Train Simulator 2 we can’t always incorporate new ideas into the product. That said, there will be future versions, and it is always helpful for us to know what our customers are interested in.
I don’t know any specifics of the new camera system. I do know that many people have requested to be able to watch the railfan view for the entire length of the train, so I’m certain it is at least being considered and weighed against technical constraints.
Thanks again for writing!

deci poate o sa avem un pass-by decent, de la locomotiva, pana la ultimul vagon
ma intreb ce a vrut sa zica prin "future versions"... updates sau msts3?
