Salut, joc druid de un an, de aproape trei ani joc numai healer/tank si a venit timpul sa-mi fac un pure dps class, ma bate gandul sa levelez un rogue, am incercat mage la 70 dar mi s-a parut plictisitor, hunter nu am jucat, warlock la fel, acum curiozitatea mea este daca se merita sa-mi pierd timpul cu el ducandu-l la 70 si daca e distractiv atat in pve (mostly heroics/pugs) cat si in pvp, sunt lvl 20 cu el dar pana acum nu am vazut nimic deosebit si incepe plictiseala, sa continui sau nu?

Rogul nu e plictisitor deloc. In PvP e la fel de interesant ca si magul. In PvE toate clasele de DPS sunt cam la fel.

Daca te plictisesti de swords/mace/etc, treci pe daggere cand poti luat Mutilate.

Eu am 4 clase dps, rogue e cel mai interesant in pvp pentru mine, in pve nu conteaza, totul se reduce la o rotatie mai simpla sau mai complexa.
Apropo de rogues , se pare ca ne dau in sfarsit ceva utility in WOTLK, au aparut niste modificari postate de blue guys :

Hai ca le dau cu copy-paste:

General

- Quality of life improvements: Removal of various reagents (Thieves’ Tools, Flash Powder) as well as a Poisons skill change. We’re removing the Poisons skill and making the finished poisons available on vendors for purchase. This should free up a fair amount of bag space.
- Envenom: Now also increases your chance to apply poisons by 25% for 2-6 seconds (based on combo points).
- Wounding Poison: No longer stacks. The first application now reduces healing by 50%.
- Anesthetic Poison: Now also removes one Enrage effect from the target.
- Evasion, Sprint, Vanish: Cooldown reduced to 3 minutes. (Talents that reduce cooldown take this down to 2 minutes.)
- Cloak of Shadows: Cooldown increased to 2 minutes. (Elusiveness now reduces this cooldown to 1 minute.)
- A new level 75 ability has been designed. This is going to be one of the bigger teases as we’re not quite ready to talk about this one yet. I will say that will add some much needed group utility.
- Fan of Knives: Weapon normalization to equalize effectiveness regardless of weapons carried.

Assassination

- Mutilate: No longer requires you be behind the target.
- Relentless Strikes: Talent is too “required” and will be made more accessible. Vigor will replace its spot in the tree and a new talent will be created to fill Vigor’s spot.
- Find Weakness: Made passive to cut down on the number of triggered effects that either don’t affect gameplay or affect it in a negative way.
- Cut to the Chase: No longer requires a critical Eviscerate or Envenom. The finisher just has to land.
- Hunger for Blood: Now removes any harmful physical effect instead of Bleed or Magic effects. Bleed effects will still be removed (as all are physical) as well as effects like Mortal Strike, Aimed Shot, Expose Armor etc…

Combat

- Riposte: Now generates a combo point.
- Mace Specialization: This will grant armor penetration when using a mace. (The warrior talent will as well.)
- Deflection: Reduced to 3 ranks for 2/4/6% parry. This should soften the prereq for Riposte.
- Fist Weapon Specialization: Merged with Dagger Specialization.
- Dagger Specialization: Renamed Close Quarters Combat, moved to tier 3.
- Dual Wield Specialization: Moved to tier 1. Lightning Reflexes swapped locations with it and still needs a little more “oomph”.
- Unfair Advantage and Stay of Execution: Change to more offensive/utility (read mobility) talents. Too much defense on this tier.
- Killing Spree: Weapon normalization to equalize effectiveness regardless of weapons carried.

Subtlety

- More attractive Tier 1 to draw in all types of builds.
- Fewer dagger specific talents to allow additional build options.
- Wrongfully Accused: Reviewed. This talent doesn’t fit well in this location. May be moved lower and/or redesigned.
- Shadow Dance: A bit awkward at the moment. Due for some polish and some design tweaks.

LOLOLOLOL. S-au plans toti retarzii ca pierd la 1v1 contra beast master hunter si warrior, iar blizzard le-au si facut moftu'.

Ne-au scos "camouflage", voua v-a bagat poisonul asta. I fail to see the balance.
Hunterul nu are mari abilitati de a iesi din melee range, mai ales daca si-a dat trinketul la KS si dupa aia are crippling pe el.
atm, ca hunter mm, esti doar o oaie in fata lupului de rogue.

Eu vad "Anesthetic Poison" ca ceva overpowered.
Ma rog, mai e ceva pana vine expansionul live and kicking.

Oricum nu mai erau o problema in stadiul actual ... dar dupa buffurile date la hunters si wars printre alte clase, era cazul sa se aplece si asupra rogilor.

Oricum, la rogues nu sunt numai buffs ci si small nerfs in anumite aspecte. CoS ar fi una, pt a ajunge la acela-si CD care il are acum, trebuie sa fie talented.

Atunci zi-mi si mie de ce hunterii nu sunt pe primele 5 locuri la arene, pe cand rogii domina ?
nu-mi spune ca nu bati hunterii ca rogue. lol. mare chestie sa dai jos petul hunterului ca sa nu mai intre in enrage...

mmc, cand hunterul intra in bestial wrath, daca te uiti la buff, scrie : "Enraged". Nu o sa ma mire daca o sa faca si enrageul magical buff..

Eu cred ca acel "Enrage" se refera mai mult la astea:

Frenzy
Creatures that used to "Enrage", now "Frenzy" instead. This is the type of effect that typically happened at low health or some other combat trigger. Examples of this would be all the Blackrock Orcs in Redridge, Jan'alai's low health/timed increase in damage, Maexxna at low health, etc. These effects are not dispellable, you are meant to deal with the increased damage as part of the fight.

Berserk
Many of our boss encounters have timers where if you do not defeat the encounter within the allotted time, the boss will suddenly do RADICALLY more damage. Players are not intended to be able to deal with the damage dealt by a Berserk boss, and a wipe should be around the corner. We try not to use the "Berserk" term for nothing else but these kinds of timers.

Man , nu ai inteles postul meu ... am zis ca nu am probleme cu hunters ca rogue ... they are fine where they are now ... on farm status . Ca atare dupa buffurile date hunterilor , salut buffurile ce urmeaza a fi date rogilor

Dar cateva clarificari:

1. In stadiul actual, nimeni nu plange daca e un hunter speced BM in arena ... poate doar da un /cheer
2. Hunter e foarte bun in 2v2 doar ca cere prea mult skill/gear (cum ar fi arcul de la Illidan)

Da, trebuia sa zic ca e facut mai mult pentru pve, acel poison. Doar nu o sa si-l puna repede rogul cand o sa vada un hunter in arena, unde nu are cum sa stie ce spec are, iar mai apoi care din poisons o sa inlocuiasca?
