This is a high-resolution texture pack for The Witcher, designed specifically to work hand-in-hand with Master of Darkness' Texturen mod. This mod "fills in the blanks" and adds higher resolutions to almost all NPC's, monsters, and animals in the game. The Texturen mod gave us high-res landscapes, buildings, trees, etc... but since characters and monsters were not included, this left us with better looking environments with the population looking a bit dull in contrast. Now with this hi-res character package, almost everything in The Witcher will look very high-def in comparison to the original game. The most notable changes to characters come by the way of outfits; now leathers look more realistic, metals more metallic, and creases and stitching are much more detailed.

This mod has been designed to greatly improve your immersion within the Witcher world. Many aspects of the HUD have been removed because they have live, in-game counterparts that can deliver the same information to you in a much more natural way. The end result is a much more fluid experience that makes you feel much more like you are playing as a Witcher because you are forced to look into the world for the information that you need rather than it being spoon fed to you by the heads-up-display. You will now need to look at the sky if you want to know the time of day or night, look at the wounds on your enemy's body to determine how much health he has remaining, look at Geralt's stance to know what fighting style you are currently using, and use your rhythm and intuition to know when to strike. The end result is the deepest experience of immersion in The Witcher that you have ever had.

Imi place la nebunie chit ca joc numai seara, ca de mai, trebuie si la servici . The Doppler’s Essence

This mod allows the player to switch the character model to any of the 176 models available in the game. After the mod’s installation the player will be given a quest item called Doppler’s Essence. It’s a potion which, when used, opens a dialogue menu with the list of the 176 models available to choose from.

Mod offers:
159 human models,
17 monster models,
dialogue menu with a sorted list of models opened from a new quest item,
3 language versions: English, German, Polish

This mod was created and tested with The Witcher Extended Edition. We can’t guarantee it will work on a patch lower than 1.4.
