Restarting a character, with all of his attributes, weapons and perks, at the beginning of the game is sometimes called "new game plus." Mass Effect had it, but Mass Effect 2 won't. Preston Watamaniuk, the lead designer for Mass Effect, addressed the question today on Bioware's forums, and the explanation has as much to do with Mass Effect 3 as it does with Mass Effect 2.

The reason is progression. We have been working very hard to make sure we design the abilities system to offer smooth progression into ME3 from ME2. Allowing double progression on characters makes that almost impossible. We have to have reasonable knowledge about where a character could end up finishing all content on a playthrough. We also want to offer choice of character build within specific classes.

We replaced that feature with playing after you were done because it preserves progression and allows for smoother downloading of PRC.

EA wants you to check out the latest screens for Mass Effect 2 from PAX. Published by EA, BioWare's Mass Effect 2 is scheduled to hit PC and Xbox 360 in early 2010, continuing from your Mass Effect save and itself carrying over to Mass Effect 3.

Mi- a placut foarte mult primul joc,dar tocmai asta nu am apreciat,combatul.Combinarea a doua genuri e ok atata timp cat exista un echilibru intre ele.

This video reveals another of the characters in Mass Effect 2, BioWare's upcoming RPG sequel. According to the trailer, her name is Subject Zero, and she appears to be an aggressive character in almost every way, including sexually, and also quite fierce. Mass Effect 2 is currently schedule for release in February of 2010.

BioWare sent out a press release announcing that Mass Effect 2 will be released in North America on January 26 and in Europe on January 29, once again referring to the RPG sequel as part of a trilogy. The announcement also mentions pre-order incentives for North America and Europe, outlining specifics about North American bonuses. Players who pre-order Mass Effect 2 at other retailers will receive the Inferno Armor which increases Commander Shepard's run speed and augmented damage from combat powers.

In North America, pre-order bonuses include special-ops armor and weaponry that are designed to boost Commander Shepard's skills and abilities. At GameStop, Terminus Gear is available with pre-orders, which includes the powerful Terminus Assault Armor and the M-490 Blackstorm Heavy Weapon:

- The Terminus Armor is designed for use in extreme planetary conditions, increasing run speed and personal shields, and augmenting weapons with an additional magazine of reserve ammo
- The M-90 Blackstorm Heavy Weapon generates a high-powered localized gravity well, accelerating particles to near-infinite mass, and ultimately expanding the selection of heavy weapons available to players when they gear up for combat missions in Mass Effect 2.
