Poza postata de mine e f veche (din 2006). Intre timp am gasit altele chiar si mai vechi, din 2004-2005, care nu cred ca vreti sa vedeti cum arata.
Intre timp se pare ca au schimbat engine-ul sau l-au imbunatatit.

Da, din nefericire aduce a LotR. Spun din nefericire pt ca Bioware a promis ca jocul va aduce a GRRM's "A Song of Ice and Fire". Dar e cam prematur sa judecam (mai ales ca nu avem la dispozitie decat un in-game teaser) asa ca cel mai bine e sa asteptam E3.

Teaser-ele sunt dezamagitoare din perspectiva faptului ca nu arata decat cut-scenes, fara niciun pic de gameplay. Pe de alta parte este de remarcat faptul ca sunt randate in timp real cu engine-ul jocului. Sunt sigur ca scopul acestor teasere a fost acela de a arata oamenilor ca engine-ul suporta sute de unitati on-screen, ceea ce inseamna lupte epice.

Din fericire IGN are screenshoturi noi, unul dintre ele (acesta) prezentand o scena de gameplay. Mi se pare mie, sau Dragon Age pare a fi un fel de Baldur's Gate 3d?

Daca citeai putin pe thread, sau mai sapai niste info despre joc pe forumurile Bioware, nu mai intrebai. Si da, Bioware au declarat ca Dragon Age este un succesor spiritual al seriei BG, pc only, si cu tema matura si foarte dark.

Pozele noi arata excelent, si ma bucur ca au pastrat perspectiva top-down.

Don't try to be a smartass Intrebarea era retorica. Iar 'tema matura si foarte dark' despre care vorbesti tu, se traduce prin faptul ca jocul se vrea a fi inspirat din GRRM's ASoIaF. Toate astea sunt lucruri spuse de Bioware in, daca nu gresesc, chiar primul comunicat de presa de prin 2004. Oh well, m'as bucura sa aiba proportiile epice ale lui BG....one can only hope

Azi a inceput E3-ul, deci sa speram ca o sa aflam mai multe. Cel putin ei asa au promis.

Arata interesant , sigur va face o figura frumoasa Bioware.
Din ce am vazut pe forumul lor, e de apreciat faptul ca au limitat numarul de caractere din party la 4. Se poate doar un singur caracter pentru cei care nu agreaza un party management stufos gen NWN.

O veste proasta insa, se pare ca vom avea si o versiune de console. Vestea buna e ca aceasta va veni mai tarziu, dupa versiunea de pc si va fi adaptata consolelor, deci un port pc -> console, si nu invers, asa cum se intampla cu titlurile multiplatforma din ziua de azi.
Oricum, lucrurile nu prea sunt asa clare in aceasta privinta, dupa cum vedeti mai jos. Accentul se pare ca se pune pe versiunea de pc. Sper sa fie asa.

At EA's E3 press conference, BioWare co-founder Greg Zeschuk mentioned that the Dragon Age franchise would be coming to consoles in the future.

Zeschuk was showing Dragon Age: Origins, BioWare's dark fantasy RPG for PC, which he described as the spiritual successor to classic BioWare titles such as Baldur's Gate.

He said that he expected Dragon Age to become a major franchise "on PC and, in future, on consoles".

It's not clear whether he meant that Origins itself would be ported across, or that other games would be released for consoles under the Dragon Age banner.

1. nu vad de ce este veste proasta faptul ca o sa apara pe console. Nu toata lumea vrea sa investeasca intrun rig NASA ca sa poata juca fiecare joc nou ce apare. Si'n plus, daca se vor concentra pe versiunea PC (iar de port se vor ocupa dupa ce o vor termina pe aceasta din urma) chiar nu vad care ar fi problema. Mai multa lume va avea posibilitatea sa'l joace..i'm all for that.

2. ce mi se pare mie interesant este faptul ca Greg Zeschuk s'a referit nu la 'jocul' Dragon Age ci la 'franciza' Dragon Age. Dragon Age sequels officially confirmed? (nu'mi aduc aminte sa fi fost vreun comunicat pana acum in care sa se spuna ca deja planuiesc sequeluri asa ca pt mine cel putin this is news)
Sunt curios daca va reusi sa faca fata Bioware, avand in vedere zvonurile unui Jade Empire 2, trilogia Mass Effect si acum seria Dragon Age... cam multe sequeluri planuite.
