| about defection
In primul rand, nu recomand defectarea ca solutie. Pe de alta parte, daca esti hotarat sau daca nu te intelegi cu cei din regat, poti sterge contul. Daca stergerea contului nu te avantajeaza, trebuie sa stii ca in momentul in care dai defect, pierzi intre 15-20% din tot ce ai... onoare, pamant, armata, tarani... Si da, cand defectezi, esti aruncat random ... nu poti sa alegi unde si cum.

Eu sunt putin cam nou,joc cam de 2 saptamani in timpul nostru,si de acum incolo vreau sa fac multi BANI ,si sa platesc ca sa fac rost de pamant nou fara lupta,mai am 40000 pamant pana se termina terenul din kingdom-ul meu.

O sa fiu mai mult ca sigur banker.Se pare ca am o abilitate ciudata de aface bani in jocul asta.Am crescut de la 300 land pana la 700 in 3 zile fara sa atac pe nimeni ,prin baniii generati de pamantul meu.Adevarul este ca am luat si de la colegi un bonus de aproape 3 milioane gc dar ca prostul am bagat la research toti banii si inca am crescut numai puterea militara.Sunt dwarf si am "miners mistyque",cred ca vraja asta este vinovata,mai ales ca poti sa o faci si cu 80 de magi,cam cat am eu.

| cu hotii
Hotii fac toti banii. Se pot gasi multi care nu au watchtowers si la care se poate intra lejer cu ajutorul hotilor. Am gasit un "client" si ii rapesc aproape 1500 de tarani zilnic (am 700 de hoti). Fraierul m-a atacat de nervi si l-am prins si eu in off-side, fara trupe in baza, si i-am mai luat si 83 de acri. Mi se pare mie sau devine din ce in ce mai greu de avansat la stiinta cu cat procentajul devine mai mare? | |||

Bey estia, nu fitzi cretini... ce rost are sa va bateti intre voi ? sunteti mucus jelly transparentzi. Daca va simititi bazati, hai sa facem o chestie: Luam un regat drept tinta, si Ii burdusim, asa de fun, sa vedem ce ne poate pielea... dar asa ? am avut si eu un conflict cu Vincent (cretin (tm), btw )... si nu s-a ajuns la nimic bun.

Aaaaaaah.... ![]() BA!Mai furati niste tarani(ca am destui),mai luati un ban be degeaba,dar lasati pamantul in pace ca se chinuie dwarfii mei sa-l adune de cand am inceput jocul.Si mai sunt si mici ![]() Ok,daca nu incetati o sa trimitem dragonul care-l avem in plan sa raspandeasca putina teroare pe la voi prin tarisoare.Cred ca v-ati dat seama ca s-a oferit sa ma ajute Carpe Diem(11:10) ,care este cel mai puternic de pe insula mea. Mda,ne gandim sa vedem cum merge treaba cu dragonul,original voiam sa-l testam pe un kingdom dala fantoma,cu 2-3 tarisoare(vezi 1:0),dar cred ca pot sa conving monarhul sa schimbe tinta ![]() Care este diferenta intre "The World of Utopia" si "The Utopia Battlefields" ? ? ?? Nu stiu cum e treaba cu dragonii, in afara de faptul ca se pot face lucruri mai inteligente cu banii ... Sa vezi tu distractie cind iti vine dragonul in regat...Pe WOU este recomandat sa intri daca esti incepator. Regatele care indeplinesc anumite conditii (acri, networth, citi se decid sa ramina/nr total de provincii din regat) sint mutate in BF in era urmatoare. Teoretic, BF este un loc pentru cei cu experienta, se presupune ca e mai greu de jucat acolo. Practic, eu n-am vazut diferente. Am donat provincia de pe BF pentru ca imi este imposibil sa gestionez 2, imi place sa ma implic, I ain't no fucking explorer ! Die explorers, dieeeeeee !

This round of Utopia will end at the end of the day on Monday, July 23rd Exact dates for the start of the next round will be posted then, but generally there are 1-2 days to get organized for the next game before gameplay actually starts. * There will not be a reshuffle this round. More details on this can be found in a post entitled My thing on reshuffling at http://boards.swirve.com/board.cgi?b...bugs&thread=29 (at least for a few days). This is a user thread and will delete when it falls off the bottom of the board. * We will almost definitely implement some form of Utopian Distance and Personalities, based on the ideas described above. In addition, we will most likely eliminate the Guard Station / Stronghold / War Science combination. * Defensive alliances will probably be implemented with a likely addition being that Allies only get benefits if two or more kingdoms have declared war on the ally kingdom. For example, if Kingdom A & B are allied and Kingdom C declares war on Kingdom A, no alliance benefits would be granted. If Kingdom D also declares war, Kingdom B would get war benefits when fighting Kingdoms C or D. We're still looking at this area. * More details on the planned changes will be posted in a couple of days. After all the other changes are determined in more detail, we will then look at race changes. For future reference, while we definitely appreciate user comments, we ignore anything related to "this change will destroy (choose a race)" [Races can always be modified later to accomodate the changes] or "this change is unfair to explorers / attackers / mages / thieves / etc" -- anything of this sort. Any change we make will benefit various groups and hurt other groups - whether it be a particular race, active vs. less active players, new vs. experienced players, etc. This does not make a change good or bad, so its irrelevent to our decisions. Here's a full initial list of our intended changes. None of these have been programmed as of yet, and all can still be changed. Listed below include some ideas previously posted, mixed with some new minor changes, and a couple of more radical possibilities. This list does NOT include race changes. Obviously, the wide array of changes below would affect different races in unique ways. We'd like to get your comments on the weaker / stronger races before deciding on changes in that area. While all of these changes are up for debate and can be changed, we're especially interested in comments on the changes listed as "Under Consideration". Those are new ideas that we're not really sure about yet, or have not really gone through heavy discussion on the site. Kingdom Relations * The Ally option would be implemented with a maximum of one ally per kingdom. An Alliance would only be functional if both kingdoms agree and would have a minimum of a couple of days. Alliances would provide war benefits if and only if two kingdoms have declared war on the allied kingdom. * War relations would be reduced to allowing 1 offensive war slot, and limiting kingdoms to being declared on by 2 kingdoms. * Under consideration If kingdoms mutually declare war on each other, those kingdoms would face restrictions on attacks/ops outside of the war, as well as on attacks/ops by outsiders (lower gains, higher difficulty, etc). This would allow kingdoms to enter into wars without outside interference. One issue here is what to do with the second war slot in both of those kingdoms, and there are some other potential problems here. Combat * Intra-kingdom attacks would be limited to Traditional & Raze attacks. These attacks would be quicker and Raze attacks would do far more damage. * More honor will be gained from combat * Attacking will be "opened up" a little more with less restrictions on target sizes and gains. While this opens up more abuse possibilities, it is impossible to make attacking easier without doing so. Magic / Spells * Crystal Eye will shows wars & alliances * Inspire Army will help lower military training time * Fool's Gold will be more powerful * New Spell: Ghost Workers would temporarily add to a province's utilization Island Distance * Distance between islands will be implemented raising the attack time when attacking far away islands. Exact times involved have not been determined, but we see an increase of about 1 Utopian day per island away, possibly with a maximum implemented somewhere in there. There might also be a 2 or 3 island radius that would not be affected at all. This keeps the process fairly simple and straightforward to understand. * Magic & Thievery would similarly be affected by making operations more difficult and cost more mana/stealth on far away islands. * Declaring war would negate distance disadvantages. In addition, we may make one race (Avians) immune to distance penalties. * Under consideration: We may also reduce the military strengths of attacks far away, but this is still to be determined. Science * This issue is still unresolved. Instead of simply removing War Science, we may change War Science to simply be an offensive war bonus. The bonus would be a bit smaller than it currently is. Buildings * Removal of Strongholds & Guard Stations * Under Consideration: We would like to add two new building types, and there are several options for new building types. A few include Forts (reduce the amount captured in attacks against you), Libraries (automatically create x science points per day), Thieves Dens (reduce losses in thievery ops & speed up stealth recovery). We'd definitely like to hear more suggestions in this area. * Under Consideration: We may change the balance between Housing and Jobs. We have not yet crunched the numbers in this area. Miscellaneous * Dragons won't affect provinces in protection * The number of acres in the kingdom to explore will probably be decreased a bit * The plague will likely be stronger and spread more * The Undead "No Losses" bonus will probably be changed to a "No Losses on Defense" bonus. This allows us to make some other changes to help the Undead without causing serious game imbalances. * There will be an array of cosmetic & techical changes that don't really affect gameplay significantly. to be continued...
