Dupa cum arata blizzard.com acuma, dupa parerea mea, o sa scoata un nou diablo, altfel de ce mai puneau ditai fata lui deasupra listei de jocuri?
Bineinteles ca si eu as prefera un SC 2, dar pana la urma, Blizzard decide..

asa e... e un fan art pe engine de wow. blizzard o sa afizeze in fiecare zi cate o poza cu jocurile deja produse in ordine cronologica, asa ca nu va luati dupa poza, uitati-va si jos la lista. maine de exemplu o sa fie starcraft, poimaine diablo 2 and so on. pana pe 19 mai.... I can't wait... oricum sansele sunt 90% sa fie SC2 RTS!

"I've decided to try something new on Kotaku, writing a story that is pure supposition based on my conversations with industry insiders, sources and legitimate fact. In other words I'm going to create a rumor, but I'll be calling it a best guess.

This first time around I spent some time digging into the Blizzard news that's set to come out next week. What we know for certain is that Blizzard is announcing something at the end of their Worldwide Invitational in South Korea. That announcement will be made to a crowd of pro-gamers in South Korea. I'm being deliberately repetitive here to drive home a point. What do pro-gamers in South Korea care about? Yeah, StarCraft.



I spent much of last week up to my eyeballs in analysts, developers and fellow game journalists and was able to get a good sense of what most people are thinking on this issue.

First, I, and almost all of the insiders I spoke with, are convinced that the announcement will be about StarCraft not World of Warcraft or some other (Diablo) franchise.

Second, no one thinks this is going to be an MMO announcement. Why not? Because World of Warcraft is doing so well. Not only does Blizzard not need the added expense of operating another MMO right now, there's a good chance at least a small portion of their WoW players would migrate from one to the other and Warcraft still has plenty of life in it, so the timing just doesn't make sense.

What the general consensus is, is that Blizzard will indeed be announcing StarCraft 2. The timing would be excellent, the recent release of a number of high-profile real-time strategy games appears to be reinvigorating the genre, but none of them have blown people away. (Well, at least they haven't blown me away.) Also, I can't think of a more receptive audience than Korean pro-gamers. And, of course, Blizzard has been very clear that they haven't given up on the game. So it's coming eventually, we know that.

While this isn't totally me talking out of my sitting side, keep in mind this is a WHOLE LOTTA conjecture. I have lots of sources telling me this is probably what the announcement will be, but I don't feel nearly confident enough to post this even as a rumor. So consider it guess work and come back at the end of the week to congratulate or mock me."

Dupa mine, sigur e SC 2 sper ca baetii de la Blizzard sa revina la origini si sa mai dea naibi goana asta dupa bani, gen EA dam, i hate those MMOs

... nu se lanseaza nimic. doar se anuntza viitorul produs. imi e greu de crezut ca poate fi altceva decat SC2 RTS din ce citesc pe forumurile oficiale blizzard. toate lumea vrea asta. si avand in vedere ca lanseaza jocul in Korea unde se joaca numai Starcraft, or sa iasa batuzti de acolo daca anuntza altceva.

Anul trecut parca, 1 aprilie. Se anunta un Starcraft MMO cu imagini, cu explicatii etc. E facuta in graba poza aia, au schimbat si ei cateva skinuri prin WoW.

Parca era si pe aici un link spre o stire, un tip de la Blizzard la o oarecare conferinta a zis ca se pregateste ceva de aniversarea celor 10 ani de la aparitia starcraft. Cum Blizzard nu anunta jocuri oficial pana nu sunt aproape gata(ghost a fost o exceptie), sunt mari sanse ca anul asta sa inceapa hype-ul pentru o lansare la inceputul anului viitor a sc 2 sau cine stie, vreun ghost reborn.

Blizzard a cumparat lincenta la Havok pentru PC. Un starcraft 2 RTS ce foloseste tehnologia havok ? Ca va fi sau nu putem totusi banui ca se pregateste ceva mare.

3:18 - warprey also very effective against structures - very vulnerable to small unit fire - shws warpreys getting wiped out by terran marines. Physics system lets debris from warpreys roll down a ramp. Showing one more unit - warped in in a serious of cubes - giant floating base - called a protoss mothership - can only have 1 at a time - cost big resources - special abilities include timebomb that slows all enemy missiles inside - shows terran missle launcher shooting in projectiles that stop in the field before they reach the ship - when field ends missiles drop the ground - planet cracker attack - giant lasers stream from ship to ground - ship can be moved around while planet cracker laser is active - the ship looks like a metallic, triangular sand dollar - mothership can create a black hole anywhere it wannts to - creates distortion that actually sucks ships in and destroys them - in the demo the black hole destroyed four terran battle cruisers in about ten seconds.

3:16 - showing space platform environment, land mass floating over planets / nebulae. Showing phoenix units failing to destroy terran battle cruisers - new protoss unit - Warprey - flying unit that does increased damage the longer it hits a target with it's continuous blue laser.

3:15 - Zerglings can mutate into suicidal bomb things thar roll across the ground - very powerful explosions. Colossus using new IK system to move across differences in terraing height. Colossus extremley weak against air strike - New unit for protoss - Pheonix - can overcharge guns for multiple projectile blast - but after blast the ship is rendered inert for a short period.

3:14 - Protoss colossus - huge unit that can blast out dual lasers and use long legs to traverse differences in terrain height - in the demo two of them obliterate about fifty or so zerglings.

3:10 - Terran reapers - can hop across unever terrain with jump packs - two types of small pistols that don't activate immortals. Protoss now have the ability to create shields whereever they want. Protoss can now warp in units from manufacturing facilities anything within pylon range. New protoss unit - stalker - can teleport - quadripedal thing - can keep blinking forward - seems to be a shot cooldown on the ability. Zerg start coming in, giant worms pop out of ground unleasing zerglings. Protoss can use phase fields and teleporting abilities to create an army anywhere on the battlefield, according to Blizzard.

3:09 - controlling protoss zealots - still has psi blades and personal shield - new charge ability that let him quickly close range on enemies. Siege tanks shown - still the same type of behavior where they can lock down - take out zealots really quickly - new protoss unit - called immortals - have special shield that only activates upon being powerfully attacked - siege tanks could barely do any damage to them.

3:07 - Showing gameplay footage - Looks like protoss ships - floating over asteroid/ base structure - entering protoss ase - similar looking buildings - vespene gas still in the game - character pane shows up on right side - some protoss guy - shifts to terran bases floating on rockets over same type of territory - sill collecting crystals as resources - marines load out. Dustin is actually playing the game - nothing in the game is final.
