Our first true release of Live for Speed will be available soon! It will be called Live for Speed S1 and will contain all the content of the demo test, plus:
* a 4wd car, a new fwd car and a more powerful rwd car

You will be able to download a version of S1 and it will work just as the demo test until unlocked online using your username and password, having paid for S1 online through our bank's system via our website or by one of the other methods. Unlocking will allow you to drive the new cars and tracks and race online and offline.

Online services provided with no extra charge include full time master servers to link the community, hot lap tables and gradually more online and competition
systems. There will always be patches and improvements being added just as during the demo test phase.

Plans have changed a little since our original 4 part announcement and things in the game have become more complex and the track areas more ambitious. As you have seen our estimated release dates had a tendency to slip by a few weeks here and there. Our current plans are to get to our first "Full" version in 3 stages, S1 being the first stage.

The content of the S2 and S3 stages, and the times when our many planned features will be added, are left undecided now. So much depends on the S1 release, our full focus is on making it as soon and as good as possible, we remain flexible about the future after that. For that reason we ask people to consider the S1 release as a product in itself when they are deciding to pay for it.

The price of the first stage is £12 (UK pounds, which is approximately 17.20 euros) . This is for the S1 release
and online systems. This can be purchased online internationally using a Visa / Mastercard or UK debit card, international bank transfer via PayPal and UK residents can pay by cheque.

Vreau sa cumpar un volan si as dori ceva de calitate,neaparat sa aiba ambreaj,schimbator,volan cu sau fara force feedback.

Daca se poate sa-mi spunetzi firma producatoare,firma distribuitoare in Romania si un pretz informativ.

Deci: in primul rand nu cred ca gasesti in Romania pedale cu ambreiaj si schimbator de viteze meserias.

Eu am pedale cu ambreiaj si schimbator ACT-LABS, care sunt separate de volanul MOMO Force pe care il am (pedalele de la volanul MOMO Force nu le folosesc de loc)...
Pedalele si schimbatorul ACT-LABS sunt cele mai ieftine care exista... si cred ca poti sa le comanzi doar cu credit card...

Mai exista o alternativa.. iti iei un volan bun...cu sau fara FF... si apoi un volan nashpa (chiar stricat) dar la care sa-i mearga pedalele... si poti sa folosesti o pedala de la cel vechi ca si ambreiaj...
Ca si schimbator de viteze nu am idee, poate daca-ti iei un volan cu schimbator secvential incorporat... Dar totusi ala in H de la ACT-LABS e sublim

Restul pedalelor si schimbatoarelor care le stiu sunt exclusiviste (foarte durabile/realiste/precise) dar si foarte scumpe, de ordinul sutelor de dolari...nu-s facute pt. gameri ci pt. cei hardcore...

Ca si volan, iti recomand volanul Momo Racing (este pe Flamingo si are FF), care este o varianta mai ieftina la MOMO Force si in plus are schimbator secvential la volan...

Pai tu cum le-ai cumparat pe ale tale?de pe net?ai cautat tu si n-ai gasit la nici o firma in romania care sa vanda asa ceva?

Nu se poate sa cumperi pe bucatzi?si daca nu exista in romania ai gasit undeva de unde sa cumperi de pe net fara carte de credit?

Mie mi le-a cumparat cineva din strainatate... si mi le-a trimis prin posta...

Eu pur si simplu nu cred ca este o firma in Romania care are ACT-LABS... cred ca din cauza ca de la ei poti cumpara doar de pe net din cate stiu eu...

Cea ce mai poti face e sa vorbesti cu cei care aduc componente de calculatoare din Ungaria, poate este pe acolo...

desi poate asta e savoarea jocului, nu ma pot abtine sa nu intreb: de ce dracu a trebuit sa puna mouse-ul ca default controller? abia reusesti sa strunesti masinile alea cu el. si rabdarea sa invat sa pilotez cu mouse-ul nu o am. mai ales ca nu are rost sa te deprinzi cu ceva daca nu iti foloseste deloc.

super game .. l-am jucat ... acu cateva luni .. un demo .... se juca doar din mouse .. .. la cea FWD mergea acceptabil .. da cand am trecut la RWD ... god save me .. cu mouse .. tzeapa .. nuprea maio poti s-o controlezi ...

foarte curios .. cum simuleaza .. volanul ala .. ambreiajul ... poti sa-l ****

LFS S1...am varianta full, este superb jocul, in curand am sa platesc pentru unlock pentru ca...si eu asteptam un crack ceva...pana am citit asta:

I think i should take a few minutes to say a few words about the unlocking key.

Firstly, the limit of 3 keys : this is not a lifetime limit, it's not that you get 3 keys for your £12 and that's it. We are well aware that licenced users may upgrade their computer from time to time and we don't say you have to pay us again when you do that.

The vast majority of people are of course honest and want to pay for their goods but the three key limit is simply to stop one unscrupulous user freely handing out dozens or hundreds of keys to other unscrupulous users worldwide. We provide a free demo but we want to charge for S1 so that we can pay our rent, buy some food to eat, have a few beers, go on holiday, make the game better, add more tracks and cars and so on...

Three keys should be enough for you to unlock Live for Speed S1 on two computers and keep a spare. If you change your computer or operating system you will need to use another key. If you have run out, it's easy to fix this, simply write to tech@liveforspeed.net explaining the problem and we'll be able to reduce your "used keys" count.

Reformatting computer / reinstalling Windows : Copy your LFS folder onto a CD, hard drive, zip drive or another computer or whatever for temporary storage, then reinstall Windows, then simply copy the folder back onto that same computer where it was originally unlocked and it should work fine. The settings are not saved in the registry, so LFS should be immune to reformatting.

[EDIT : that's not true with XP at least, i don't know yet about the other versions of Windows but apparently something changes even when you reinstall the same version of XP]

In the event of a problem with the above procedure or certain types of upgrade you may possibly lose your unlock. In which case just unlock it again, requesting a reduction in your key count from us if necessary.

Se pare ca baietii s-au inspirat de la Microsoft cu WinXP, insa au dus procesul cu un pas si mai inainte.

bomath> am jucat pe rand aproape toate versiunile ce au fost disponibile spre download. Ultima versiune S1 0.3A l-am downloadat full, dar eu cel putin nu am vazut vreo diferenta intre 0.3A si versiunile mai vechi. Diferente exista sigur, dar nu notabile, in afara faptului ca ultima versiune merge ceva mai slab decat primele.

Vreau sa spun sa incercati (eventual moderatorii sa puna un link langa linkul pentru downloadul jocului) LFS Tweak si BSpoke. Cu LFS Tweak cred ca stiti ce trebuie facut, iar cu Bspoke puteti crea aproape orice fel de janta pentru masina, in caz ca va plictisiti de cele "stock".
