Am cumparat si eu cu 4 zile in urma un Xbox 360 si am avut neplacuta surpriza sa vad ca nu ma pot conecta pe Live... binentees asta cand am ajuns acasa, la magazin mi s-a povestit ce fain e sa te joci online...

Am trimis cateva emailuri la microsoft dar se pare ca nu intentioneza sa ma ajute in nici un fel, poate daca trimitem mai multi avem mai multe sanse...

Hello,

I bought a XBOX 360 on 26 Ian 2008 from Romania and I want to join to the Xbox360 Live community. I am not able to do this because my country is not listed in the country list. If I choose another country a get an invalid postal code error...

Please let me know what should I do, or if you can create my account manually. I really want to play on xbox live and to benefit from it's services because this was one of the reasons for what i bought this console.

I’m really sorry that you’re having a problem on your Xbox console. I understand that you want to sign up on Xbox Live service but your country is not listed. With regards to this issue, you may contact our phone support lines to assist you appropriately. Thus, here are some information on how to sign up for Xbox Live service. You have to sign up for Xbox Live to play Xbox Live games.
You can purchase your Xbox Live Starter Kit in retail stores. It includes an Xbox Communicator, a game disc that includes the Xbox Dashboard update, and a subscription code. During the signup process, you are prompted to enter the subscription code to enable your one-year subscription.
Recent versions of the Xbox console include the Xbox Live option in the Dashboard. Earlier versions require an update. The disc that is included with the Xbox Live Startup Kit includes this update. This update is also included with any game disc that supports Xbox Live. To update the Xbox Dashboard by using the Xbox Livedisc, follow these steps:
1. Start the Xbox console with the Xbox Livedisc in the disc tray.

Hello again,

As I told you in the previous email, I bought the XBOX 360 console a few days ago so it has the Xbox Live option in the Dashboard. I just want to create an account on Xbox Live and to benefit from the one month free gold member offer like anyone else that bought the console. If it's necessary I will mail you my personal information so you can create the account instead of me.

I know I repeat myself, but I am from Romania and my country is not listed in the country list when I try to sign up for a Xbox Live account account. Plese help me and don't ask me do make calls to United States ore anywhere else because I cannot afford it. I paid about 560$ on this console and I want to be able to use it fully.

Hello again,

When I purchased my Xbox 360 I paid the same amount as anybody else. There was no warning that I will not be able to use it from Romania on Xbox Live. That's not fair. I just want to be able to use what I paid for I'm not asking you to do me a favor. Why are you lying to us when you sell this consoles?

Please do what it has to be done and let me use the services that I paid for.

Plus ca au pus pe site la ei http://www.cotidianul.ro/select un link direct catre petitie. Mie mi se pare laudabil, chiar daca au comis-o cu 260 in loc de 360.
Parerea mea este ca daca ne agitam si mai mult si le aratam ca ne intereseaza articolul lor, or sa continuie sa mai scrie una-alta. Ca la o adica ii intereseaza sa le creasca tirajul, nu?
Eu o sa ma duc sa-i felicit, poate mai vad si maine un articol pe tema asta.

Oricum, comunitatea noastra nu s-a miscat absolut deloc asa cum speram. Daca ne uitam in petitie, mai bine de jumatate sunt straini. Daca ne uitam pe forum, avem mai tot timpul cel putin de 1000 de useri online... din peste 110.000 de membri. Nu mai vorbim si de guests... Nu zic, nu reprosez nimic nimanu, doar ca eu spun ca nu ne putem lauda cu ajutorul alor nostri, cand de fapt nici macar 1% din comunitatea CG nu a semnat... Pacat... dar, asta e viata.

MonkY, nu ai cum sa ii acuzi ca nu au semnat din moment ce petita nu apare pe fiecare sectiune a site-ului. Poate unii intra numai pe jocuri PC, altii numai pe hardware sau pe generalitati. Nu au cum sa afle de petite daca nu o vad undeva sticky. Ar fi bine sa fie postat un topic sticky pe fiecare sectiune si atunci targetul de 10.000 de semnaturi nu va mai fi chiar atit de greu de atins.
