    Demigod

    produs de Gas Powered Games(cei din spatele seriei Dungeon Siege si a lui Supreme Commander),jocul va fi un hibrid intre RTS si RPG,jucatorul putand alege intre modul de joc pe care-l doreste,fie in spatele unui singur erou fie in spatele unei armate(ceva in genul Warcraft 3-DoTA)

    ca motor grafic jocul il va folosi pe cel din Supreme Commander(deci un plus pentru procesoarele quad) insa despre storyline nu se stiu prea multe,doar ca va fi un oarecare turneu(adica nimic interesant,cel putin nu deocamdata)

    Demigod este programat sa apara la inceputul lui 2009,doar pentru PC,iar un beta este planificat pentru vara lui 2008

    N-are treaba cu Warhammer, ci mai degraba cu DOTA. Sunt interesat de el din prima zi de cand a fost anuntat. Totusi am ceva rezerve cu privire la cat de hardcore va fi, comparativ cu DOTA. Si avand in vedere ca este un joc orientat catre partea de mp, cat si PC only, va fi cam greu sa se impuna, imo...Daca n-ar fi existat DOTA, at da, poate avea sanse, dar asa, nu stiu. O sa fie curand un open beta (in toamna), asa ca o sa vedem mai clar atunci, ce si cum.

    Atari is on a roll lately with announcing Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena as a sequel to Butcher Bay and now also stating that they'll be co-publishing Gas Powered Games' Demigod next year. Demigod is an action/RPG/RTS hybrid partly inspired by the Warcraft III custom map Defense of the Ancients. The game gives the player the ability to choose certain heroes that rely on either their own power as a single unit or the power of creating multiple units.

    Nu va avea nici macar 10% din comunitatea de dota , heck cred ca 10% e best case scenario

    Pare un Dota mai casual. Nici eu nu cred ca va prinde. Majoritatea maniacilor DOTA il vor respinge din start, iar restul lumii probabil se va plictisi de mp dupa o luna. Imo, casual MP pe pc nu va avea niciodata succes pe timp indelungat.

    Sper doar ca se va putea moda, intr-un viitor, astfel incat cineva sa transpuna DOTA-ul pe engineul de Demigod sau/si sa il faca mai hardcore.
