Ping-urile din stand-by le da reteaua telefonului in anumite cazuri cand are nevoie sa stie daca acel terminal mai este in arie, si atunci telefonul intra in comunicatie cu BS-ul si spune ca este "alive", dar asta poate sa se intample din sfert in sfert sau o data la cateva zile, rezulta de aici ca factorul asta nu-l putem controla noi.

Telefonul aflat in stand-by nu face altceva decat sa asculte un canal fix pe care BS-ul transmite toate adresele de telefoane pe care le stie el ca ar fi in retea, telefonul nostru isi recunoaste indicativul si sta linistit, dar mai asculta si un alt canal radio, tot fix, pe care antena transmite request-ul pentru initierea unei convorbiri ca sa stie cand cineva il "cauta".
Toata ascultarea asta pe care o face telefonul se petrece la secunda, sau mai des, sau mai rar, depinde de setari (despre astea ai intrebat tu Shark).
O cautare permanenta, Ex. la Motorola, este justificata acolo unde se schimba ariile foarte des sau se merge in zone dificile de acoperire.

Eu tin telefonul pe asa zisa cautare continua si tot se mai pierd din cand in cand apeluri catre mine din cauza retelei.

For example, a subscriber to cell 050 in England will receive information on the GSM tower currently being used by their phone. Ma refer la coduri pentru a afla cate ore au fost vorbite pe telefon, cand a fost produs telefonul, ce versiune are soft-ul...

Prin meniu..ma descurc eu sa navighez , dar prin meniul telefonului se pot sterge timpii de convorbire. Eu ma refeream la vreun cod stil nokia, o combinatie de numere si semne care sa iti afiseze o chestie independent de utilizator.

Sunt curios daca stie cineva coduri de verificare pentru a afla lifetimerul, sms-urile trimise si chestii de genul asta pentru diferite firme producatoare. Ma intereseaza in mod deosebit SE si Nokia. Ideea e ca daca nu sti aceste coduri te poti pacali si cumpara un tel folosit cu lefetimerul resetat ca fiind nou.
