MTS: GSM + GPS real time tracking

Fightersoft Multimedia proudly presents Mobile Tracking System 1.10 - o solutie completa de urmarire prin GSM si GPS simultan si de mesagerie prin mesaje de tip SMS sau e-mail (push e-mail).

Proiectul MTS ofera urmatoarele facilitati:
- afisare pe telefonul mobil a locatiei curente (similar cu Busola Connex)
- afisare pe telefonul mobil a informatiilor primite de la receiverul GPS (coordonate, viteza)
- acccesul la informatiile de raportare live printr-o simpla pagina web
- orice user poate trimite si primi mesaje text de la si catre orice alt user MTS oricat de lungi sau multe
- orice user poate trimite si primi mesaje e-mail oricat de lungi sau multe
- in caz ca nu exista o conexiune la internet pe telefonul mobil, MTS are si suport pentru baza de date locala (pe telefonul mobil). De asemenea, daca conexiunea la internet devine inoperabila la un moment dat, programul automat trece pe baza de date locala pentru a afisa informatii.
- daca doi useri (cu setari definite in prealabil) se afla in aceeasi celula, programul va notifica utilizatorii
- MULTE alte facilitati

Note:
- orice utilizator care se inscrie acum beneficiaza de toate facilitatile mentionate GRATUIT
- vor exista premii pentru cei care adauga cele mai multe celule in baza de date
- proiectul este disponibil pe orice retea GSM din orice tara
- proiectul functioneaza cu orice receiver GPS cu suport NMEA

Cerinte:
- telefon mobil sau pocket pc echipat cu Windows Mobile 2003 sau 5
- legatura la internet de pe telefonul mobil (in caz contrar se foloseste baza de date locala, dar nu va exista suport pentru urmarire live)
- receiverele GPS sunt optionale

Mobile Tracking System 1.11 released:

- MTS can now auto run when Windows Mobile starts
- when in auto mode, MTS will look for a new cell every 30 seconds, however it will communicate with the server every number of minutes specified by you
- you can now see who added the current cell and who last modified it
- you can now download the operators list directly from the MTS Server information page ( http://www.fightersoft.ro/mts/services.html )
- you can now download the entire database of a particular network operator directly from the MTS Server information page ( http://www.fightersoft.ro/mts/services.html )
- both the server and the client were optimized for better response time and lower power consumption

Another piece of good news is that the best cell hunters will be rewarded!

- every user that adds 100 cells to a network operator will receive a free copy (licence) of Star Media Center Mobile when it will become available. At the moment SMC Mobile is in the last stages of development. SMC Mobile is a desktop application that willl broadcast (stream) audio/video content from a number of sources such as: tv-cards, webcams, local files, computer desktop, audio files and so on. You can use any Windows Media Player powered device to view the broadcasted content: desktop computer, laptop computer, pocket pc, smartphone etc.

Please note that the number of added cells is counted only per network operator (if you add 10 cells to US Cingular and 40 to US T-Mobile, you will not qualify). Also, the number of added cells means the number of cells discovered by you, not edited/modified.

Every user that passed 50 or 100 added cells should send an e-mail message to support@fightersoft.ro to get more information on how to receive the prise.

Also, as promised here is a helper application - http://www.fightersoft.ro/mobile/mts_debug.zip . If your ppc/phone doesn't work with MTS try these steps to help me add support for your device:
- setup you ppc or phone in windows to work as modem
- go to control panel - phone and modems and do a query on the modem to make sure it works and remember the port number
- run the MTS Debug application from Windows desktop (you need .NET installed on your machine - you can get it if you don't have it from the MS site)
- select the port number and press refresh. Please send a screenshot of what the application shows in the textboxes to support . at . fightersoft.ro

We are glad to announce the release of a new MTS version. Version 1.12 main changes are:

- added the timers window (here you can specify the interval in minutes between client to server GPRS communication and the interval in seconds between refreshing the current cell id and looking for it through the local database)
- greatly optimized the local database search system to conserve battery power
- now the user can be notified when the client to server GPRS communication fails (Settings - Alerts)
- fixed an issue that caused MTS to crash when saving information from the Settings - Hardware window

We would also like to bring to your attention that we have started working on a MTS counterpart that runs on desktop computers. We decided to integrate this piece of software into an already existing project - Star Remote Mail. Until now, Star Remote Mail was basically an e-mail notification application with some features that put it in the e-mail clients category of applications. Starting with version 1.15, Star Remote Mail has some specially designed features for the MTS users:

- every incoming e-mail message can be automatically "forwarded" to your MTS Client
- you can send quick messages to MTS users directly from this application
- you can track a MTS user and display his or hers location as a tooltip hint in the Star Remote Mail system tray icon (see attachement)

We are also working on another application for Windows Mobile users (smartphone and pocket pc alike) - an audio/video streaming server - Star Media Center. Mobile Tracking System 1.13 released:

- added support for displaying the date when the current cell was originally added or the date when it was last edited (Options - Edit Location - Options - Get Cell Information)
- fixed the not remembering "sound on communication failure" checkbox in Options - Settings - Alerts
- instead of GPS coordinates, now MTS will display the fix status and speed if a GPS receiver is connected
- the default path of the MTS folder can now be changed from \Storage Card\Program Files\ to anything else (such as \Mounted Volume\Program Files\) by manually editing the value of this registry key - HKEY_CURRENT_USER/MTS/mtsfolder
- changed the welcome message and Options - Tools - About

In other news :P, MTS 1.17 released:

- added the TV Watch feature! Go to Options - Tools - Watch TV and CHECK IT OUT!
- when you are in an area with the same description as the town name, then only the town name will appear - example HR, Lacu Rosu instead of HR, Lacur Rosu, Lacu Rosu
- fixed some issues that caused the MTS client to accept non standard ASCII characters that are not supported by the MTS server
- optimized the MTS protocol

Intre 3 si 7 octombrie suntem prezenti la TIB 2006 (Romexpo) - Targul International Bucuresti - TIB 3 - 7 Octombrie 2006 editia a 32 - a . Standul nostru se afla in pavilionul 12. Va asteptam sa veniti cu pareri si sugestii pentru a ne imbunatati linia de produse.

Pai cand dau get location imi da 2 erori(in poza ii a 2-a care apare la nici o secunda dupa prima eroare) prima eroare era ceva de genu could not to connect to... ma conectez la net prin active sync deocamdata.
