WTF is 3.9 otb? Din moment ce faci downgrade de la 4.6 la 3.9 nu ii poti spune 3.9 otb  . Eventual 3.9 original pentru a-l diferentia de 3.9 FB. (de obicei otb se traduce prin "out of the box", adica cu ce a venit telefonul  ).

Bootloader 3.9 was the first bootloader to be used on iPhones that were made on week 45 or earlier in 2007. This Bootloader [3.9] allows the iPhone SimFree (IPSF) paid unlock aswell as GeHot's IPSF-like free unlock. Also, this bootloader allows you to downgrade your Baseband (which controls your Wi-Fi, EDGE and Calls) firmware. Downgrading baseband is useful when you updated by mistake or/and want to go back down to a previous iPhone firmware. Bootloader 3.9 does not allow bootloader update Bootloader 4.6 is the current bootloader being placed on iPhones as of Week 45 and later iPhones of 2007 and all 2008 iPhones. This bootloader does not allow your baseband to be downgraded, so once you updated, you are stuck there. Also, this bootloader does not allow the IPSF unlock. As you may remember this bootloader caused many problems when it was reviewed by the Dev-Team to look for a software unlock. Now, thanks to GeoHot, this bootloader [4.6] can be unlocked. One important exploit in this bootloader is that it can allow you to downgrade itself to the earlier 3.9 which is good if you want to downgrade baseband or apply IPSF-like unlock. Bootloader 3.9 Fakeblank (BL 3.9FB) is a modified bootloader created by Geohot and the Dev-Team. It has all the capabilites bootloader 3.9 has, but has one great exception. This bootloader, since it's modified, can allow you to updgrade back to bootloader 4.6. One big flaw of it, is that if you downgrade your firmware to 1.1.1 or earlier the bootloader seems to disappear and a new bootloader appears (more on that next). Bootloader 3.8 is very, very new. This bootloader is a mistake made by the iPhone when installing firmware 1.1.1 or earlier on a BL 3.9FB. Since, its new not many information is known, but here are some things. This bootloader occurs because 1.1.1 or earlier firmware thinks there is no bootloader (BL 3.9FB makes it look as though there is no actual bootloader). So the strongest suggestion is not to downgrade to 1.1.1 or earlier when using BL 3.9FB until the mistake is corrected. The greatest worry of this Bootloader is the fact it has all the exploits of 3.9, which means no bootloader upgrade. After this info, not much is really known of bootloader 3.8.

Nu stiu ce o sa fie pe viitor, insa deocamdata v1.1.4 facut cu ziphone merge cel mai bine de pana acum! Nu fasaie, nu am probleme cu reteaua si nici cu wifi-ul... De o singura chestie imi este frica... sa nu instalez ceva din installer si sa nu mai plece... aveti idee ce s-ar putea face in acest caz? eventual erase & rest all poate sa il blocheze din nou? PS: o sa incerc si eu sa vad ce bl are... | ||

Pentru cei care nu stiu... Daca "moare" telefonul...adica...nu mai merge touch screenul se blocheaza se reseteaza singur pc-ul nu-l recunoaste etc...abs nik -> -tineti home+power exact 10 secunde(folositi un ceas/cronometru daca aveti nevoie) apoi da-ti drumul doar butonului power si tineti asa pana cand o sa-l gaseasca pc-ul -apoi restore si unlock...simplu ca de obicei si nu o sa aveti niciun fel de problema

2. exprimarea "bl 3.9/4.6 otb" este oarecum gresita si nu o folosesti decat tu (esti primul la care o vad, din atatea forum-uri internationale pe care le frecventez). intrebarea care ti-am pus-o mai devreme era un pic retorica GOR dc sa-ti crape telefonul cand instalezi ceva din installer? citeste mereu descrierile si nu instala decat ceea ce-ti foloseste, iar daca ceva-ti suna ciudat, documenteaza-te mai bine inainte de a instala. acum ati vazut si voi ca au fost aplicatii malware in installer sau incompatibile cu diverse versiuni de firmware care duceau in cele din urma la un restore. ideea e ca pot fi evitate 100% cu putina informare.

Da man, stiu ca e mai usor sa previi decat sa tratezi, insa ce faci daca nu mai ai ce face... doar asa ca idee... Dupa cum ziceam 1.1.4 merge mai bine ca orice si nu am de ce sa incerc altceva... Din ce am vazut in Baseband Info eu am BL 3.9_M3S2 - what is that mean? e v1.1.4 ziphone | ||

deocamdata nu vad nici un avantaj in a trece la 3.9 fake , decat ca sa-l decodezi prima data , 3.9 org e la fel de bun , poate chiar mai bun tinind cont ca e facut de Apple.
