Quests:
Many "quests" involving you running between npcs at different locations and gathering the items. The REAL questy quests that involve killing some evil are as follows:

* Exorcise 25 tormented spirits in Terror Dale

* Defeat Tendris Warpwood in Dire Maul and convince the Equine Spirit to bless your arcanite bardings

* Judge the evil spirits in Scholomance great ossuary, defeat an evil Deathknight, redeem the chargers soul and give it back to him

Considering you have to farm Stratholme for the water and such, I estimate about 6-8 hours to do all the quest lines assuming you already have the required items.
