QuakeZero is a very recently announced video game project from id Software. It is a online free version of Quake3. TTimo and Scott have the game launching off a web browser, not playing in a web browser, but launching off a web browser. That's the idea of it. You kind of go into a web interface to see what the community is all about, let you see what competitions are going on, how you play the game, etc. Kind of like how a poker site works, you kind of go there and see what's going on and with one click, you start your download of the game and then play in a test game or training mode until the download completes. After a couple minutes of practicing, you have the full Quake 3 experience and can start playing verse anyone in the world. The whole interface is backed through a web portal, and we're able to test out a lot of things that we want to do in pushing the Arena, and the new Quake Arena game.

abia astept! inca un joc free pe lista de asteptari pe langa Generations Arena si standalone CPMA
sunt foarte curios daca o sa prinda acest joc avand in vedere ca id software face jocuri destul de inaccesibile publicului larg si deathmatch-ul a trecut pe bancheta din spate de mult timp.
cheia poate sta in includerea unui mod popular de joc pe echipe, desi nu cred ca si-ar face competitie la ET:QW. probabil mizeaza pe faptul ca jocul e gratuit, bazat pe renumele Quake3-ului si va fi incercat de foarte multa lume. modul de implementare online il face mai atractiv cu siguranta si cine stie.. poate vom asista la un Quake Zero "bandwagon thing", cum s-a intamplat cu Halo
