Cred ca se face o confuzie PS3 este foarte bun ca player BR , practic se poate considera, chiar daca suna ciudat, cel mai bun player BR avand rezerve sa treca la profil 2.0 din update firmware, treaba imposibila pentru playerele existente.
Pana acum nimeni nu a gasit defecte la redarea BR in nici un benchmark sau la o simpla vizionare normala.
Partea cu redarea DVD este complet o alta mancare de peste.
La capitolul asta PS3 sta prost, fiind sub un player dvd de categorie medie cu multe probleme atat pe deintelacing cat si core:
"The PS3 has no film-based de-interlacing support. It is essentially locked in video mode the entire time, so as the cadence changes, resolution is compromised. This is pretty much unforgivable at this stage in the game and embarrassing compared to every other DVD player I’ve tested from Sony."
