  • Of all the possible factions to add, why did you decide to add the Dwarves in this expansion?


First, I think the dwarves are a race that was eagerly expected I hope they will fulfil these expectations! They are a tradition in fantasy worlds and they couldn?t shy away from fame in Ashan. We indeed have other factions in mind but the dwarves were the logical next step in terms of history and game balance.

  • What are the main abilities of this new faction?




Dwarves will have a specific magic school, the rune magic. They are the only ones who can access and use it. They have runes on themselves or on their equipment. The rune mage (the dwarven hero) commanding the army can activate these runes by spending resources (not mana). So you will have to be careful of choosing the right moment to activate them and not waste resources! Runes will have various effects such as allowing a unit to attack twice or to dispel any negative spell effects.

  • What kinds of units will be available to the dwarven faction? Can you give us more details on 1 or 2 creatures?


Here are a few details on one nice unit, the Berserker. It?s basically a storm of flesh and armour and pointy bits. It may be a dwarf storm, but not one you would like to encounter! It?s a melee fighter with very powerful offence and immunity to mind control. They can also charge the enemy for improved damage, but at the expense of all defence.



  • It seems some of the dwarves will look like gigantic dwarves, is it due to gameplay or design?


One of the dwarf units is a giant dwarf indeed ? ending up as quite a normal height. We are talking about the Thane, who is a clan elder, a warrior imbued with magical abilities. They actually need to be quite big if they want to be able to wield the huge axe they carry around. This axe is imbued with magical runes of thunder and his allows them to add a chain lightning effect to each of their strike or to cast once per battle a Storm Bolt attack.

  • Where does the add-on take place in Ashan? Will we have new environments?


Yes, from the screenshots released you see that the dwarves there are situated in a new, snowy environment. They mostly live in the mountains north of the Griffin Empire, a fact that was already guessed by the people who looked closely at the Ashan map provided in some game editions. The add-on scenario will bring you there and also underground to settle a few accounts the dwarves have with some of their neighbours.

  • What is the background of the dwarves? Why did they remain silent and hidden in H5? Who is the main opponent of the dwarves? Who is their leader?


The dwarves are led by their king, Tholgar. He was once a brave warrior but has grown complacent and is now relying on counsellors. One of them, Hangvul, leads the belief that dwarves should only care about their own problems, and thus led them to isolationism. This is also helped by the fact that they have lost contact with their god, since the death of the Haven king Alexey. Perhaps the fact that they didn?t help at the time is being punished? The ravaging civil war in the human kingdom will awaken the dwarves and also their hatred of the dark elves, which they fought in the ?war under the mountains?.

  • Why did you decide to put another dragon as the lvl7 creature for the dwarves? Why do you introduce so many dragons in the game?


Dwarves worship Arkath, the dragon of fire, so it quite sensible that fire dragons appear to help them, just like the dark elves and Malassa. Dragons are at the core of Ashan, the world of Might and Magic. If I do the calculation correctly, only half of the factions had a dragon as a tier 7 creature, so that?s the fourth, which doesn?t strike me as overwhelming

Nice, asteptam cu interes. Nu prea mai am chef de asta, in parte fiindca am invatat hartile pe de rost si ca pe normal il bat pe pc de ii merge fulgii, in schimb pe oricare dificultate superioara triseaza si ma bate. deci nu gasesc o greutate intre normal si hard. macar atunci sa am harti. dar vad ca nu zice nimic de ce sa mai afla in add-on. un link complet exista?

SENZATIE: random map si atentie, CARAVANELE. Nici nu ma asteptam la asa veste buna. Sunt super utile caravanele alea. In h4, jucat la greu de subsemnatu, valorau imens. Nu mai trebuia sa fac eroi aiurea care mai si mergeau mai putin decat caravana.

Astia-s surzi si idioti.N-au lansat 2 harti acolo pe H5 si scot expansion, probabil le pastreaza ca sa ai odata cu expansionul in loc de 7, 9 harti.
Aveam sperante, acum s-a dus dracu si Heroes-ul.Campaniile alea de kko ce le baga ei sunt umplutura, Heroes e pentru multi, pentru custom games nu abureli de genu'.Se pare ca producatorii nu dau 2 bani pe nenumaratele plangeri.

da e gold. si pare super. nu au bagat inca serii de artefacte care puse impreuna sa faca ceva si mai tare. probabil in expansion nr. 2

mai sint o gramada de texte pe care nu le-au corectat astia dupa atitea luni nu-s in stare sa puna pe cineva care stie engleza sau macar foloseste un dictionar cum trebuie ... Fotress, untill, ...

nu stiu cum era in H5 vanilla ca nu aveam monitor wide atunci insa acum la ce folos sa treci la rezolutii si pe cele wide cind de fapt totul e un strech

magii tot nu mi se par balansati cum trebuie

in sfirsit a aparut zapada

eu inca nu l-am luat. astept o anume versiune
cum e cu generatorul de harti? e ok?
unitati neutre mai multe?
ma astept la unitati neutre combinate. sper sa nu ma dezamageasca. ar creste mult modul de abordare al unei lupte unitati neutre combinate.

nu m-am uitat pe generator, am luat prima harta cu dwarfi pe care am gasit-o in lista si nici acu' n-am terminat-o din lipsa de timp

si eu astept sa cumpar un complete edition daca l-or aduce si pe la noi

e mistocut. tot nu sunt trupe neutre compuse dar e misto jocul. unitati noi, nu prea multe, dar oricum sunt, cladiri si artefacte noi. castelul nou e misto.
generatorul e ciudat rau in sensul ca nu poti genera tu cu ce castel vrei sa joci. iti genereaza el si daca pui 2 players te poti trezi ca nu ai catelul cu care vrei sa incepi. in rest, caravanele super misto. desi si aici e o chestie ciudata. nu poti baga in caravane trupe din alt castel cumparate (alea care raman sa apere castelul de exemplu), doar pe alea necumparate. in fine, nu e mare tragedie dar e ciudat.

papa ram pe paine in continuare jocul si uneori ingheata gandind cateva minute. in anumite momente l-am prins facand asta.
au mai modificat la eroul meniul de artefacte parca au mai modificat si la arborii de dezvoltare, am senzatia ca acuma poti ajunge mult mai usor la ultimate skill.

Ai mare dreptate, am dat un spellcheck peste texte (pentru ca oricum le aveam pe toate compilate intr-un singur loc pentru Skillwheel) si are multe asemenea erori. Culmea e ca in 30 de minute se terminau toate corectiile...

cum naiba il recrutez pe eroul ala in campania 2 misiunea 3 din expansion?
ca l-am eliberat i-am dat armata dar nu devine al meu si pierd misiunea.
am citit pe net ca e plin de bug-uri expansionul.

In primul rand nu trebuie sa-l recrutezi, ci trebuie sa-l eliberezi. Sunt cateva buguri, da nu-i "plin" si oricum nu afecteaza gameplayul.
Cateva tipsuri:
1. Pe primii dwarfi nu-i recruta in armata, ci lasa-i sa apere cateva puncte de intrare (ii poti lua mai tarziu).
2. Dupa ce faci primele 2 questuri, vezi ca in partea de nord a hartii, la suprafata, in fata la dragon utopia gasesti un Magma Dragon. I-al! Si o sa mai gasesti cativa, dar nu mai stiu exact unde.
3. Goleste harta pentru experienta si trupe.

e evident ca l-am eliberat am si scris mai sus. si imi pare rau se te anunt dar trebuie sa il recrutezi asa cum zice in obiectivul scenariului. deci presupun in continuare ca e un bug altfel nu imi explic de ce nu il pot recruta.
multumesc pt tipsuri sunt inutile insa, am facut tot ce ai zis si multe altele din proprie initiativa. speram ca imi zice cineva cum l-a recrutat pe erou ala handicapat.

Mai omule! Tu sigur vorbesti de Campania 2, Misiunea 3?
Acolo zice clar in obiective ca trebuie sa-l eliberezi pe unu in trei saptamani. Nu zice sa-l recrutezi. Dupa ce l-ai eliberat, el o ia catre o iesire. Tu trebuie sa-i eliberezi drumul altfel iti da misiune ratata. Si dupa ce a iesit afara, ala se duce dreaq si nu-l mai vezi. Unde ai citit tu de recrutare?

dragul meu cuvantul enrol inseamna sa il inrolezi/recrutezi. deci exact in obiectivul misiunii scrie asta. zice sa il eliberezi si "enrol him", de acolo am dedus eu ca trebuie si recrutat.
iar drumul lui catre iesire e complet liber numai ca prostul nu iese din underground. sta ca vaca si se uita la scara aia spiralata.
