am si eu o intrebare...acest astral digital e cam tot aia cu servicii de tip boom,dolce,focussat,etc? stiu ca nu e cu antena de satelit spre deosebire de astea,dar tot ai setbox (parca asa ii zice) care e diferenta? and second....are cineva?cum se comporta? a mai fost acum vreo 2 ani dar din cauza problemelor l-au scos.

Poate gresesc , dar "astral digital" e focussat  , deci e cu antena parabolica si tot tacamul...

Diferenta e ca nu iti trebuie antena, duh. Tehnologia e (in principiu) aceeasi, semnalele se transmit cam tot la fel dpdv al codarii. Fiind pe cablu, UPC Digital ar trebui sa fie mai bun, pentru ca au la dispozitie o latime de banda superioara (asta inseamna fie mai multe canale, fie acelasi nr. de canale la o calitate mai buna), dar in realitate nu e asa. Tot pentru ca e pe cablu, UPC Digital ar trebui sa ofere diverse servicii interactive (gen Video on Demand, Pay per View), care sunt banal de implementat cand ai la dispozitie conexiunea inversa atat de simplu. Dar in realitate nu e asa. Nici macar subtitrarile si EPG-ul nu functioneaza la toate canalele, din diverse motive de compatibilitate si/sau lene a serviciului tehnic. Set Top Box-urile folosite de UPC sunt primitive si pline de bug-uri (mai ales celebra corcitura Z50DVB). Daca ai noroc, sunt perioade in care update-urile de firmware nu strica nimic, daca nu, atunci ai placerea sa te joci hide and seek cu serviciul clienti.

sunt abonat la acest serviciu chiar de la lansare. La inceput au fost probleme cu software ul ptr stb uri si cu subtitrarea pe unele canale, dar acum sunt imbunatatiri majore.. Pot spune ca este cea mai buna varianta la varianta analogica.. Stiu ca mai sunt multe servicii de implementat, si asteptam stb uri mai performante, dar sper sa continue.. Personal am pachetul Supreme si receptionez cam 80 canale, in conditii perfecte. Astept cu nerabdare vremea mai proasta, cand voi rade de vecinii cu Boom, Digi, Dulce si alte platforme..macar eu voi avea in cel mai rau scenariu 15 canale, ce ajung prin fibra in sediul lor.. Pretul este intradevar mare, si sper ca concurenta reala sa isi faca prezenta, si odata cu maturizarea pietei sa fie un pret mai romanesc... | ||

intreb pt ca eu am astral normal prin cablu (prind vreo 60 posturi si platesc around 250k) si as vrea sa trec la astral digital si nu stiu daca merita. vreo problema daca am si telefonie si internet de la ei. btw,cat costa pachetul cu toate programele ?

ca de obicei, angajatii astral sunt cel putin batuti in cap, ptr ca pe site uri nu scrie nimic de tv digital prin cablu, iar la tel dupa 15 min de asteptare am renuntat, m am dus la casierie. Le a trebuit mult pana sa se prinda iar raspunsul a fost pe masura: se poate instala doar la bloc, la case la curte, nu. O_O

hmm...stau la bloc si as vrea sa schimb cablul `normal` pe care il am acum la tv cu solutia lor digital. sa vedem dupa anul nou, cat de buni sunt. lafayette,da niste detalii suplimentare daca poti. cum arata cablul,de unde vine,cat e instalarea.cat costa pachetul pt toate programele,etc si nu in ultimul rand...afecteaza cu ceva telefonia si internetul? eu pana acum am cablu coaxial tras din cutia de pe scara in casa -> splitter -> a.cablu in modem pt net si telefonie b. cablu in tv pt televiziune

Pai a fost (prin 2004) si l-au inchis la putin timp dupa lansare din cauza problemelor. Apoi dupa o perioada l-ai redeschis.

Indie, internetul si telefonia nu le va afecta pt ca are cale separata pe cablu coaxial semnalul la digi. Si da, daca ai un singur recevier o sa vezi acelasi program pe toate tv-urile care le ai. Exista varianta sa iti mai cumperi receviere separat.

deeeeci pot sa am si net si telefonie si astral digital. bun.... merita atunci sa trec de la cablu astral normal la astral digital ? se vede mai bine? Cu alte cuvinte mai vreau pareri de la cineva care mai are acum, nu din auzite sau vechii clienti cand era naspa (ca de-aia l-au si inchis)

Si eu sunt abonat la ei, am Set Top Box Z50DVB si nu prea sunt multumit. Foarte des imi "ingheata" si mi se "dezintegreaza" imaginea pe cam toate posturile. In rest, fara acest minus, semnalul e mai bun ca la analog si ai 2 iesiri Euroscart. Astept sa schimbe Set Top Box-rile cu unele noi si mai performante! lafayette: unde ai vazut tu schimbari majore, ca eu nu mi-am dat seama?! ai dreptate doar cu partea de subtitrare, dar cu imaginea care ingheata, nu au facut nimic, plus ca daca-i suni nu ti se raspunde la telefon. | ||

din cate stiu Box Z50DVB a fost primul (bagat si cand aveau probleme) si de atunci au bagat alte STB mai bune

si partea a 2a INTREBARE: astral DIGITAL SUPREME (40 ron) inseamna BASIC + CELELALTE PACHETE sau doar TOATE PACHETELE,fara BASIC? Oricum abonamentul lunar la cablul normal e vreo 30 ron,eu zic ca merita. Astept lamuriri suplimentare
