Pentax a publicat un nou roadmap pentru obiective: http://www.digital.pentax.co.jp/ja/lens/roadmap.pdf Deja anuntate sunt DA* 16-50 f/2.8, DA* 50-135 f/2.8 si DA* 60-250 f/4. Zgomot putin mai bun pentru 400D la ISO 800-1600 vs. ceilalti, in rest la calitatea imaginii diferente minore ce probabil pot fi reduse si mai mult la prelucrare. Diferentierea ajunge sa se faca la calitatea constructiei, optica de kit, daca este cazul, si la facilitatile oferite de camera. Mai ramane de vazut K10D.
