Ca sa setati CG ca content server (serverul de unde veti primi toate update-urile de Steam, CS, HL, etc), faceti urmatoarea modificare: Deschideti regedit: Start > Run > "regedit" Mergeti la HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Steam, si apasati pe LastContentProviderURL. In loc de serverul pe care il aveti trecut acolo (sub forma http://www.steampowered.com/platform/banner/gsi.htm , sau ceva similar), treceti : http://www.computergames.ro/steam/steam.html Dupa aceasta modificare, veti fi conectat la unul din serverele metropolitane CG . | ||

i hate to burst your bubble... dar cred ca last.. cum ii zice nu e numai in registry... ati fost vreunul curios sa deschideti clientregistry.blob cu notepadu?? (aviz crackerilor  ) sunt acolo muuulte informatii (nush daca e shi asta... dar... cred ca ajung undeva nu? din acest motiv (zic eu) nu se schimba... bine, poate fi shi de la server (daca e full) dar who knows....Yours Truly | ||

Am incercat faza cu registrii si degeaba. Nu imi lua cu viteza mai mare deloc! Din cate am observat...in ultima perioada serverele de la steam au inceput sa mearga mai bine. Si eu din serverele astea am reusit sa-mi fac downloadul.

acum am bagat numa in registry , n-am pornit download inca, dar dupa cum ii spune la Key : Last Content Server (adica ultimul server...cu continut) ma gandesc ca daca dai iar sa dwn baga unu random sau care e mai gol, trebe sa fie undeva printr-un fisier sa fie Fix content server, sau ceva de genu, ca sa ia numa de pe ala, eu n-am avut probleme cu downu , luam si cu 70kbs si mai putin

eu nu am facut nici o modificare ; cand am facut update pt Day of Defeat la inceput a folosit externul apoi metropolitanul, sigur era metropolitan pt ca a prins 1,5 megabYtes .
