Am o prb mare...am luat si eu iso-urile de pe site la fedora si am incercat sa imi instalez si eu linuxul...prb e ca imaginile de cd nu sunt bune(am rulat test media de la inceputul instalarii si imi da erori)...am verificat si md5checksum si imi da eronat de ceee ce e pe site la fedora...deci...a mai avut cineva prb asta? cum ati rezolvat-o?...

lol ce intrebare, normal ca trebuie sa iei din nou isourile bulite. Sunt pe mirror pe roedu, si daca ai dvd, poti sa iei varianta dvd, care sigur merge. Si eu am avut probleme cu isourile dar cu var pe dvd nu.

atata timp cat nu se potrives md5 sum-urile, tot ce poti face este sa le descarci din nou

vezi ca f.i.r.n. are si server de rsync, exista cativa clienti de rsync pt. windows, nu mai stiu exemple, in 2 minute gasesti vreo 3 pe google. Ce face rsyncul: downloadeaza doar diferente intre fisierul local si cel remote, asa ca poti sa-ti repari iso-urile in no time. Si da, isourile de la roedu sunt ff. bune.

lug.ro e in gts, firn e in roedu (doh) si linux.ro in rds. Primele doua sunt updatate zilnic (la iasi tocmai a facut diablo publica o aplicatie de status: http://ftp.iasi.roedu.net/mirrors-status/ ). Servere de rsync au toate trei, dar isourile de fedora sunt doar la iasi. Ca rule of thumb, pe nici un mirror de asta mare n-o sa gasesti fisiere gresite (poate doar daca nimeresti in mijlocul vreunui update, dar si atunci foarte rar). Inainte de a scrie iso-uri pe cd, e bine sa le verifici md5sum-urile, ca nu se stie niciodata.
