Se da una bucata comp cu o placa de baza Shuttle cu Intel 845, P4@1.4GHz, 512MB SDRAM si 1 HDD Western Digital de 20GB, cu Windows XP SP2. Se adauga un al doilea HDD identic cu primul, ca secondary master. BIOS il vede fara probleme, in Device Manager apare ca instalat, in proprietatile Secondary IDE Controller apare OK, in Ultra DMA 5. De aici incepe faza spooky: nu vad nici o partitie de pe el, ceea ce pare logic din moment ce nu apare in Disk Management, unde nu e prezent decat primul HDD. Orice am incercat, windozu nu vrea sa-l citeasca de nici o culoare. A mai patit cineva asa ceva?

Problema e de software. Am incercat pe alt comp si merge brici.

..daca te-ai jucat la procesele win-ului poate ai dezactivat ceva pe acolo daca zici ca pe alt comp. il vede. ai incercat sa-l formatezi inainte? daca zici ca disk management nu il vede, incearca cu PM8 sau Acronis DM..

vezi cum e pus cdrom-ul sau ce ai tu montat pe aceasi panglica cu el. vezi sa nu aiba faze de genul: master with slave,master without slave aka single..eu din cate tin minte wd avea boala asta

Ai pus pe Disable unul din serviciile de mai jos: Plug and Play Logical Disk Manager Logical Disk Manager Administrative Service ? Ai incercat un Action -> Refresh sau Rescan Disks in Disk Management? Mai exact ce vezi in Disk Management? Pune un screenshot eventual.
