...sa imi apara o poza cand deschid System Properties? Ma refer la poza care apare in stanga de unde scrie procesorul si cantitatea de memorie!

Change OEM Information on Your Computer

Those of you who have an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) version of Windows may have noticed some additional information on the General panel of Control Panel | System.

The text information which appears is stored in a file called OEMINFO.INI, which resides in the C:\Windows\System folder. If you don't have an OEMINFO.INI file, you can create one, even if you don't have an OEM version of Windows. The OEMINFO.INI file follows the same syntax as other INI (initialization) files. Keys are surrounded by square brackets and values appear below the relevant key.

The Support Information key can have as many lines of text as you like. Each new line is given an unique number (in sequence) and lines may be left blank.

Following the equal sign of each value, you can enter any text you wish.

OEMINFO.INI File Format:

[Support Information]

Line1=Support information is keyed here

Line2=Additional support information is keyed here.

[general]

Manufacturer=Name of Manufacturer is entered on this line

Model=Model of the PC is entered here

[OEMSpecific]

SubModel=Name of the sub-model is entered on this line

SerialNo=The serial number of your system is entered on this line

OEM1=OEM information is entered on this line

OEM2=Additional OEM information is entered on this line

You may also display a graphic image called OEMLOGO.BMP.

This graphic should be placed alongside the OEMINFO.INI file in the C:\Windows\System folder and will appear below the Microsoft logo on the General Panel of Control Panel | System. The graphic will not be displayed unless OEMINFO.INI also exists. Here is the specification for the graphic image:

Filename : C:\Windows\System\OEMLOGO.BMP

Format : Windows Bitmap (BMP) Uncompressed

Width : 180 Pixels*

Height : 114 Pixels*

DPI : 72 or 96dpi

Type : 24-Bit RGB Colour
