Windows "Vienna" (formerly known as Blackcomb) is a codename for a future version of Microsoft Windows.Microsoft now announced it will be released in 2009, and according to a magazine called "Smart Computing In Plain English", work on it began right after Windows Vista came out. As of February 2007, the name of the operating system used internally is undisclosed and is not used publicly by Microsoft,though "Windows 7" has been noted in job postings as a working name for the project.
Microsoft has refrained from discussing the details about "Vienna" publicly as they focus on the release and marketing of Windows Vista,though some early details of various core operating system features have emerged at developer conferences such as Windows Hardware Engineering Conference in 2006.

Mi-e teama ca privesti din partea gresita.
Programele au incompatibilitati pentru ca desi producatorii lor au avut acces din 2005 la Vista (ca sa nu mai zic de versiunile publice din 2006) durerea lor in fund a fost mult prea mare.
Si in afara de Quark 7 mie mi-au mers aproape toate aplicatiile pe care le-am testat, fie ele majore sau minore.

Ma cam indoiesc ca-l scot in 2009, pana atunci au programat SP3 la XP si sigur scot si la Vista cel putin un SP.

Mă îndoiesc că va mai apărea vreodată XP SP3. Şi pînă şi troll-ii profesionişti sînt de aceeaşi părere:

If you were looking for any glimpse into the mind of Microsoft, this is it: The company has completely abandoned Windows XP, and it has absolutely no plans to ever ship an XP SP3. My guess is that Microsoft will do what it did with the final Windows 2000 Service Pack: Claim years later that it's no longer needed and just ship a final security patch roll-up. This is the worst kiss-off to any Microsoft product I've ever seen, and you'd think the company would show a little more respect to its best-selling OS of all time. But the reality is, Microsoft is looking ahead to new revenue and not behind to money that's already in the bank. This flies in the face of its publicly-stated life cycle support plans. And it really freaks me out. It should freak you out as well.

Eh, atat timp cat updateurile lunare sunt la locul lor si va exista macar un roll-up final tot e OK pentru mine.
Data aia din 2009 a ramas probabil uitata pe drum, aparent mai e un Vista R2 intre ele (Fiji), e imposibil sa lansezi 3 OS_uri in trei ani. Si doua e prea mult, cu un XP inca vioi si vesel.
