We need your help... " Romania are destul de putini participanti, mai exact are 65, din care nu stiu cati sunt activi. Comparativ, USA-u are cam 16000 de participanti la acest efort comun. Acum eu sunt pe locul 100600 dar urc in primii 100.000 Programul (clientul) este usor de configurat si nu consuma decat ciclurile libere ale procesorului. Defapt toata chestia e un fel de Seti@Home dar mi se pare mai misto deoarece : - au statistici foarte faine : http://stats.distributed.net/rc5-64/ - stii tot timpul cat % mai e de terminat - dau un premiu de 1000 USD celui care gaseste codul de decriptare. Sansele sunt destul de mici, dar totusi, nu va costa nimic. Poate ati mai vazut bechmarkuri cu RC5 la procesoare pe la Anandtech si n-ati stiut despre ce e vorba. Informatii despre programul client http://www.distributed.net/howto.html.en Nu este necesara conectarea manuala la net. Programul, daca e configurat in mod corect, detecteaza automat cand va conectati si transmite cateva pachete. Daca va intereseaza subiectul gasiti mai multe la http://www.distributed.net.
