o/c cu mofturi
am facut si eu un mic o/c de la 1 ghz la 1.1 ghz, fsb de la 100 la 110 si a mers PERFECT in win 98, la cateva se simtzeau diferentzele, la altele nu. oricum nu conteaza. acum 1 h am pus winxp, care dupa un timp `aleator` de functionare bsod. nu stiu ce sa-i fac ca eram chiar multzumit de performantele procului la 1.1 (fac un pachet seti in 5.5 h in loc de 7 )
nu-mi spunetzi sa pun 98 ca nu-l mai pun nici de nebun.
ash vrea niste explicatii ceva despre diferentele dintre so-uri, de ce pe unu e stabil si pe altul nu.

am de aprox. 10 h o/c-ul din nou la proc pe win xp, full load tot timpul, max temp 54, si vad ca merge fara probleme. nu stiu ce avea aseara.

update: am observat ca se buleste cand folosesc intensiv hdd-ul, in rest merge impecabil. intensiv se intzelege dezarhivarea a 600 mb si apoi instalarea.

Incearca sa comprimi in DivX si masoara timpul. Ala da proces care omoara procu (abia-mi mai merge winampu )

raptor :nu prea ma prind care ar fi legatura. tu te referi ca o sa-mi solicit procu` ? al meu e tot timpul la 100 %, ca rulez seti@home pus pe idle.

Daca zici ca apar pb cand folosesti HDD intens - fisiere mari - o fi de la placa de baza -daca ai un FSB prea mare si soliciti placile PCI

Din cate stiu eu controlleru IDE merge pe bus de PCI iar daca ai crescut FSB-ul mult creste si frecventa PCI-urilor. Trage concluziile

Incearca sa dai un benchmark "agresiv", de genul celui din Sandra de cateva ori, ca sa-ti foloseasca cat mai putin celelalte componente (CPU, memorie) si cat mai mult hdd-ul. Daca crapa inseamna ca 37-le ala e prea mult
