am instalat de curand monstrul asta.E frumos si destul de usor de configurat (daca nu te pricepi te ajuta helpul) .Acum am o problema: nu pot sa instalez serverul de smtp . ii dau add new windows component aleg email services instaleaza ce e de instalat dar nu merge . pop3 merge si pot sa fac useri sa sa verific mailu dar nu pot sa trimit. in iis nu apare smtp server cum ar trebui si nu prea stiu ce sa ii mai fac are cinveva idee de ce se intampla asta? nu dati idei d-astea de tip reinstall windows ca asta nu mai fac. OFFTopic : merge beton routerul care vine cu 2003  | ||

adica ai instalat serviciul (SMTP) si acum ai pretentia sa iti si mearga? Pai server de mai daca doresti pe SMTP tb sa mai dai ceva banutzi ...  ai uitat de Exchange (2003) tb sa apara, daca tu iti faci server de mail din sistemul de operare, produsul asta cine mama dreaq o sa-l mai ia? | ||

daca astepti sa faci server de mail folosind SMTP (inteleg ca ai instalat serviciul) te inseli. Nu va merge. Gandeste-te ce Microsoft nu a integrat Exchange 2003 in Windows Server 2003. Sunt 2 produse distincte. In plus multumeste-te ca ai POP3! | ||

SMTP are 2000 prof, XP prof, XP home, 2000 server si 2003. Tre sa intri putin in mmc-ul SMTP-ului sa-l configurezi inainte sa-l poti folosi. Quote:

smtp-ul il instalezi din add/remove programs din grupul cu IIS si il configurezi din mmc-ul de unde configurezi si IIS-ul. Nu e nevoie de exchange ca sa poti trimite mailuri.
