Probleme cu un TEAC CD-W540E

Am probleme cu un cd-rewritable teac. In Nero la 3% imi da comunication failure. Am reinstalat windows-ul dar tot de geaba. L-am dus la service dar cei de acolo mi-au zis ca ei au scris 2 cd-uri cu el.

Eu m-am gandit sa iau niste driveri de pe net. Problema este DE UNDE?

intra la http://www.teac.com/DSPD/support/dt_...w_firmware.htm si instaleaza ultimul firmware. Atentie...daca update-ul reuseste nu pierzi garantia...dar daca ratezi poti sa arunci teacul la gunoi si ai pierdut si garantia. Rescrierea firmware poate esua numai daca ti se opreste curentul in timpul opratiunii sau daca se buleste disketa pe care ai fisierul de firmware. Pentru cazul 1 foloseste un UPS, pentru cazul 2 pune fisierul pe harddisk si nu vei avea nici un fel de problema.

BTW cum isi pot da seama aia de la service de chestia asta? Am garantie pe tot sistemul.

raiterul nu va mai functiona deloc...nici macar nu se va mai deschide tray-ul cand apesi pe buton daca ratezi scrierea de firmware. Daca tie ti-a dat eroare la scriere, probabil ca este blocata scrierea firmware de catre fabricant...nu sunt sigur, dar am mai intalnit problema asta la teac (un cdrom).

Nu stiu ce sa zic mai mult...daca pe alte sisteme zici ca merge...incearca sa faci update de firmware pe alt calculator.

Incearca si pe alt sistem daca nu e sigilat calculatorul. Nu-i crede pe aia de la service pune-i sa scrie cu tine de fata 1 CD. La Teac CDW540E se poate updata firmware nu e blocat deci inca un semn ca ceva e dubios la el.
