am instalat un soft care tinea mortis sa imi afiseze toate butoanele in romana. problema era ca nu avea diacritice deci se vedea nashpa. am banuit ca si-a luat chestia cu butoanele de la optiunea cu localizarea din regional settings. numai ca desi am putut modifica "current location", nu am nici o optiune pentru standards and formats. parca era ceva acolo, nu? unde a disparut? cum fac sa nu mai apara "septembrie" acolo, de exemplu? am gasit sa modific "lei" in "euro", dar mai departe sunt pierdut...

te plictisesti sau ce? pur si simplu vreau sa schimb locale-ul din romanian in english u.s., de exemplu. cum fac asta, avand in vedere poza atasata mai sus?

Bai obule, e foarte simplu, pui english la toate, la Location, Standards and Formats, si asta e tot. Alte setari de limba nu sunt.

te rog io frumos, aduna posturi in alta parte. daca te uitai in poza, vedeai ca io la standards and formats NU MAI AM NICI O OPTIUNE. de asemenea, in tabul de advanced nu am nici o optiune de limba pentru non-unicode programs. tot ce pot modifica, dupa cum se vede si in poza, este location-ul. in concluzie, la standards and formats sunt legat de ultima setare, "romanian", pentru ca toate optiunile de configurare au disparut. intrebarea mea era ce naiba s-a intamplat si cum pot remedia asta. FARA reinstall de windows sau cioace gen "format c:\"

de ce nu cauti rezolvarea in cauza problemei tale: scapa de soft... daca e porcarioara aia care-ti face "windows-ul in romana" e cam nasol... zice cand instalezi ca procesul este ireversibil si nu o sa poti reveni la lb. pe care o inlocuiesti... in cazul asta FlailHead avea dreptate: reinstalezi SO. Spune-ne de ce soft era vb.!

n-are nici o legatura softul, este SAPgui pentru SAP R/3. cand l-am instalat si am vazut ca este cu meniurile in romana mi-am adus aminte ca asa am setat eu locale-ul acum nuj cat timp. insa cand am vrut sa schimb locale-ul... ia-l de unde nu-i  .windows in romana? never!

gata, am rezolvat. aparent, .inf-urile alea din \windows\inf chiar folosesc la cate ceva  ... cand am facut curatenie pe C:\ am zis ca sunt disposable. noroc ca le-am salvat pe un CD.
