Am instalat Mandrake Linux si am pus ca boot manager LILO boot. Faza e ca vreau sa-i skimb ordinea de bootare care e default: linux, linux-nonfb,...,windows si sa pun windowsuk primul. Sau daca nu , sa maresc timpul de selectare a optiunilor care e default de numai 8 sec. Pot face vreuna din kestiile astea?

/etc/lilo.conf Primul de sus e intotdeauna cel default. Dupa ce editezi rulezi lilo

Asa si eu cum imi configurez reteaua? am incercat in Control panel si nu am reusit sa-i pun un workgroup.

cauta samba. aia nu e retea, e doar un serviciu care in windows e bagat pe gat. deci cauta samba prin configurarile din mandrake. pentru linia de comanda ai comenzi gen smbmount ca sa mountezi share-uri de la altii, smbclient ca sa faci o gramada de alte chestii, deci scrie in consola smb, apasa tab si o sa vezi comenzile care incep cu smb, da-i man <comanda> si o sa iti faci o idee cum poti sa faci linuxu sa se inteleaga cu windowsu.
