Ieri seara a aparut si este super. Pe moment nu merg cateva extensii, dar se vor updata in urmatoarele zile. Eu folosesc ca tema Noia Extreme. Extensii : adblocker (care e super), download manager tweak, web developer, user agent switcher, switch proxy tool, search status Recomand Firefox la toata lumea. Eu m-am decis sa trec la acest browser din cauza gaurilor din IE, vizitand un site mai 'underground' imi instala spyware automat, fara sa pot face ceva. www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ Last edited by Mr. Shrek; 14-05-2005 at 23:47.. | ||

super firefox-ul... si inca nu am apucat sa instalez extensii. chiar voiam sa intreb pe forum ce recomandati, ca mi-e tarsha sa citesc tot ce e pe site. myie2 is gone foreva' .

Pt. ca Maxthon nu e browser, ci doar o interfata pentru IE, adica are aceleasi buguri si mizerii.

Rog frumos utilizatorii de Opera si Firefox sa-mi spuna si mie care sint plusurile Firefox-ului. Am luat si eu kitul de pe mozilla.org (ce trafic trebuie sa aiba astia) dar mi-a fost lene sa-l testez deocamdata. Eu am trecut la Opera 7.6 p2 care pare sa rezolve toate problemele de randare (sau cum se zice ) a paginilor; singura problema e memory leaking, in rest se comporta impecabil.

Primele impresii - Firefox (vs Opera) - dupa instalare normala, all default, arata crapy rau, toate mari cit crucea nebunului - neimportant - optiuni mult mai putine - no mouse gesture decit cu extensii - prea multe chestii doar cu extensii -> greu customizabil - (inca in teste, confirmati) mai incet decit opera - nu pot sa inchid tabul de quick reply (check down page) - uneori deschide alta fereastra in loc de alt tab, motive neelucidate. Banuiesc ca si pentru asta trebuie vreo extensie de tab browsing. Edit: The firefox and opera markets seem to be diverging, even though Operasoft are taking some steps to counter that at the moment... Firefox 1.0 seems to be very much an IE replacement out of the box. It has moved more in that direction since the earlier Firebird. The default interface and layout are very similar to IE, and show you little or nothing beyond unless you go looking. Even the preferences show uncanny similarities. Without extensions there are few additional features except tabs, popup blocking and a few search bars. Interestingly they have also pinched some Opera niceties, like the find in page '/' key followed by return to action a text link. Probably the best thing in FF for me is the renderer - things often look a little nicer when finished loading in Gecko browsers, are also nicer to see while they're drawing, and the UI (particularly keyboard forms input) are fully responsive during page load. The latter is particularly annoying in Opera and I hope shall be addressed soon. Opera on the other hand is very much the power users' browser, even though Operasoft are at the moment trying to simplify the default UI and menus. Opera also is not trying to look like an MS-Windows product per se, firstly because it is designed multi platform and second because it has a UI that transcends individual OS UIs somewhat. I feel the latter contributes to the power of Opera, but also serves to complicate migration for new users. This is difficult to address because a) Opera's current approach - the so-called simplicity created by changing UI elements and thinning menus - is somewhat of an illusion, while annoying existing users; b) the windows market is by far the largest and differences in Opera's custom UI controls behaviour will be seen by most as idiosyncratic because things don't behave like they do in "most windows apps". Not much can be done here except making it rock solid and addressing any UI anomalies or behavioural limitations (of which plenty still exist); c) one could argue that users' willingness to switch browser implies a willingness to learn something new, for the payoff of a better experience. Most Opera users feel this way - I know I do. Interfata la opera mi se pare super. Plus faza cu tinutul paginilor in memorie (back si forward instantaneu). Din pacate: Inca nu e in stare sa afiseze toate paginile cum trebuie. Pana si pe forum o iau razna uneori tabelele. Proxy socks n-are idee, ba mai are si nesimtirea sa-l citeasca din explorer si sa-ti puna la proxy socks=numeserver...., de te crucesti de ce nu merge la prima pornire. Mi se pare foarte putin customizabil. Nu am gasit decat niste meniuri cu linkuri suplimentare si diverse metode de aranjare a toolbarurilor. O fi greu customizabil, dar macar permite asta, si la ce potop de extensii au aparut cred ca nu sunt prea greu de programat. Daca tot te-ai referit la casuta de quick reply (btw, imi merge ok in firefox, tot install default), selecteaza o portiune de text si apoi apasa butonul de bold. Incearca asta pe ie, firefox si opera. Ghici care nu-i in stare sa aplice tagurile de bold in jurul textului selectat. Nu mi se pare ca interfata e problema lui opera, cum zice ala in postul de mai sus, ci afisarea paginilor. Convinge tu pe unu ca opera e mai bun ca ie, cand nu-i in stare sa afiseze paginile cum trebuie. Te chinui degeaba sa-i explici ca pagina a fost scrisa de un incompetent, pt ca o sa vina evident replica "Pe IE de ce mere?". Noroc de gmail ca s-au trezit si opera sa se uite pe js. | ||

Da. Deci aveam Mozilla 1.0pr , am luat acum si instalat 1.0 final. M-am dus un Add/Remove si i-am dat uninstall la 1.0pr si mi-a zburat si 1.0 final. Sa sara-n aer. Nici nu-l mai instalez.

lol, din moment ce le-ai instalat in acelasi director, la ce te asteptai? intr-adevar e vina lor ca au trecut cu vederea treaba cu double entry-ul , dar daca din cauza asta te-ai decis tu sa nu-l mai folosesti... nu pot zice decat ROFL.
