RDS taie peering la greu ?
De cateva zile am observat ca RDS nu mai are peering cu Idilis, Mediasat si Fibernet. Stie cineva despre ce este vorba, un nou caz Evolva ?

Cei de la RDS sunt probabil satui sa mai permita folosirea retelei lor fara a fi remunerati.

Si totusi, astazi, din Mediasat in RDS se ajunge via iex.ro... N-am la dispozitie acum o conexiune RDS, ca sa verific si reciproca

Daca RDS o sa taie pana la urma toate peeringurile parca-l vad ajuns in pozitia Evolvei

Toti ceilalti cu peering intre ei si numai RDS-ul izolat de toti.

RDS nu cred sa taie peeringul cu Astral, deci nu va fi izolat. Plus ca impreuna, cele 2 companii au o cota dominanta din piata.
In rest, in afara de mici interese punctuale, cred ca RDS-ului i se cam rupe de d'alde Evolva, Mediasat......

Ar fi interesant de stiu si motivul acestei deconectari. Ca mediasat ofera net la retele , hai sa zicem...Dar idilis saracii chiar nu au decat firme. Care ma indoiesc ca rup sarma.
Si e amuzant de ce mai sta ROEDU. Ca acolo stie toata lumea ce si cum

traiasca al nostr' popor, in a 20 si treia primavara, in care partid' muncitoresc traieshte minunat, dragi tovarashi, v-am pupat pe portofele, ROMANIA ARE LEGI ANTI MONOPOL, dar cine sa le aplice cand nu e monopol pe fatza, plus multi mananca din tocana muncitoreasca, mult sudita tocana romaneasca, ghiveci de pe plaiuri mioritice, traiasca tot partidul si viatza lunga mult prea iubitului si sfantului nostru lider...

Am impresia ca nu numai peering-ul RDS->MSAT e taiat, dar si canalul dintre cei doi a fost micsorat. Un bandwidth test pe RDS (http://bandtest.hardnet.ro) arata cam asa:

Your current bandwidth reading is: 235.00kbps
which means you can download at 29.38 KB/sec. from our servers.

... in schimb, unul pe extern (www.testmy.net) zice ca:
Your connection is: 955 Kbps (about 1 Mbps)
You downloaded at: 117 KB/s
Your TRuSPEED™: ^info^ 1022 Kbps :: 125 KB/s (7% overhead factored)

cre`ca raspunsul este extrem de simplu... DA ! rds taie peering la greu ! motivele sunt mai mult decat evidente... nu ma apuc acu sa le enumar ca deja sunt foarte cunoscute
