Eu nu inteleg o chestie. De ce unele poze au stilul grafic gen prince of persia iar unele au stil grafic normal ?

Pentru că alea "normale" sunt vechi. Acum arată cartoonish.

In addition, IGN has conducted an interview with Gearbox's Art Director Brian Martel as he talks about the game: IGN AU: We imagine texture-work and modelling for this kind of look requires quite different skills and aesthetics than for a more traditional looking game. How has the art department adjusted? Were they thrilled to have something so different to sink their teeth into?

Brian Martel: This was a challenge for a lot of the artists at first, but mostly it was really just us getting our sea legs, if you will. It was challenging for some because it was such a departure from what they felt they had been working towards for years: Hyper Realism. Ultimately though everyone got into it and found it to be some of the most fun they have ever had working on a game. It is a very liberating and freeing art style. Artists that have traditional skills and folks that have done a lot of texture painting and texture photo manipulation have the time of their lives with this style.

For the most part it is such a unique style and they have never worked like this before so it is a blast for all of the artists. As the style came together I think they all felt ownership of it because everyone helped to do something that helped to define the look. Each artist was able to influence and inspire the other ones.

IGN AU: The new visual style is clearly a point of differentiation, but how does it fit in with the game's attitude and gameplay?

Brian Martel: Believe it or not I think it accentuates and reinforces the attitude and game play immensely! It's been a symbiotic relationship between the new look and the game; each one feeding into and off of the other. The style of the game play begat the new look which freed the game to have more attitude and more fun and ultimately each made the other better for it.

E catalogat ca fiind un Sci-Fi FPS, arata bine si are citeva elemente de remarcat:"According to Gearbox, there are 20 to 30 narrative missions and 130 to 140 side missions in Borderlands, plus an untold number of outposts, caves, and other uncharted nooks to explore...,ambitious open-world-style shooter...It may be a first-person shooter at first glance, but the skill trees, diverse weaponry, and vast world mean that there's a whole lot more to this package. Borderlands is a game that we could see ourselves pouring a massive amount of time into..."

Eu tocmai am terminat din nou fallout 3 explorand totu and stuff like that. Si asta mi se pare ca seamana cu el. Pare ca are potential, abia il astept, dar totusi voiam un rpg cu elem de fps si nu invers. Vom vedea cand apare, poate nu il amana. MAi mult de juma' din jocurile ce trebuiau sa iasa anu asta, vina la anu' :|

GameSpot has received confirmation from 2K Games on the launch dates for Gearbox Software's highly anticipated role-playing shooter, Borderlands. Gearbox's post-apocalyptic shooter-RPG Borderlands (PC, PS3, Xbox 360) heads off to North American retailers on October 20. The international release will follow a few days later, with the game rolling into Europe and other territories on October 23.

se pare ca Borderlands si Rage vor concura pe aceeasi felie. ambele mi se par promitatoare, intr-un fel sau altul cred ca nu avem decat de castigat.

Nu cu jocul asta , in nici un caz cu Bortherlands . Pare un joc tare dubios si n-are ce concura cu Rage , totusi dpdv grafic si gameplay .

sNaKeY - Atunci ma auto-corectez , doar dpdv grafic cu siguranta nu poate concura cu Rage .
