I don't think that electricity production is a major issue. China's electricity production is growing at about 10% annually, close to the the growth rate of overall economy. Interest rate increase is to reduce investment and prevent bad load getting out of control which can causes hard landing of economy (collapse of financial system and bust of economic bubble). The other issue is the environment protection. Some smaller size companies increase production without taking care of environments.

the electricity is a problem that's why they are discussing with Rusia to buy the hole production of some nuclear pwer plants and some 1000000 Ha of siberian forest.
the plants in china have restriction an consuming electricity and they have the right to buy only a specified quantities of energy.

I found Romanian Embassy in Beijing from the 3D Map. You need Adobe Flash 9 installed in order to see it. It is located in a quiet area. Click arrow buttons on the picture to see the surrounding area.

Sorry, I made mistake in my last post. Romanian Embassy is actually located in the next building of the same street. It should be right this time because Romanian national flag can be clearly seen from the picture.

The main entrance of the embassy.

Romanian embassy has big and nice building. The embassy is located in a prime location, near the center of Beijing. A few streets away from the embassy, it is the International Trade Center and SOHO center.

Some porcelains that China exported to Sweden over two hundred years ago are back to China for exhibition. See this nice video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7w0RJvXnNHY

China is now considered low-quality product exporter, but China was top quality product exporter at that time.

Never say never. In your food today, it may contain additives made in China. China produces 65% vitamin C of the world, which is used as additives in many processed foods and beverages

What does it have to do with what I jost said. That article warns consumers that chinese corporations are selling us crap telling us it's food. that's a very serious crime. I know junk food is bad for you but does it have to kill you right away? I mean China will never be a serious economic superpower if it keeps pulling stunts like this.

There were a few food safety cases that caused internatioanl attention. A few days ago, China sentenced the former head of state food and drug admisnistration to death penalty for taking bribes.

Watch this video and listen to the music. The pianist is a young international superstar. His name is Lang Lang.

My favorite Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No. 1 performed by Berliner Philarmoniker and Pianist Lang Lang.

On-topic , alta veste proasta despre produsele chinezesti:http://www.jurnalul.ro/articole/9891...se-de-pe-piata
Totusi, nu ma pot abtine sa nu ma intreb , de ce tocmai acum, cand au inceput frecusuri americano-chineze, se afla toate astea?

Lead is often used as an additive in paint to improve durability for industrial applications, but it is prohibited for home applications nowadays.

Is the NASA Administrator's speech aimed to scare the US Congress and American public in order to get more funding for NASA or he truely believes so?

If his "belief" becomes reality, it will be the landmark of the end of American technological dominance.
