German ratings board USK—which you may know better as the Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle—has revealed the name of one of Blizzard's upcoming releases, World Of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. The title was rated with the descriptor that it would be the "Add On" was a "GC-demo" meaning that the game will be on hand, most likely playable, at Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany.

The expansion has been rumored to explore the frozen continent of Northrend for some time, with leaked documents lending more weight to that speculation appearing earlier this week.

Blizzard staffers revealed late last year that the company planned to ship yearly expansions following the release of The Burning Crusade, so it's just about due for another dip into players' wallets.

Just remember to call your mothers before you purchase this one, kids. She'll miss you.

Probabil ca unul din zvonuri e intemeiat. Lvl max 72 mi se pare cel mai real din cateva motive: nu distruge progresul in contentul anterior. Kara + 25men actuale au bosi de 73, o sa fie un pic mai usor sa le faci si esti chiar obligat sa le parcurgi ca sa mergi mai departe.

Arthas este corpul actual al Lich King-ului.

Intrebare: coiful si Frostmourne (sabia) pentru ce clase vor fi? Long live the palas.

Frostmourne e dagger , dar nu cred ca va putea fi echipat , ci doar folosit in lupta cu arthas

What to expect from the Expansion :


*It is going to Northrend! With level 80 and new abilities! If some Objects are achieved, you can create a new Character. The Death Knight. He starts straight in High Level Area.
*In PVP there will be finally be the long-ago announced siege weapons available and there will be destroyable buildings, plus a new battleground
*The Deathknight will be a kind of Damage Dealer and at the same time a Tank with so far non existant new abilities. He will be playable by Alliance and Horde, but it will be just certain Races who will have the possibility to create a Death Knight. He is the first Hero class and other will probably come in the following Expansions.

It's four days to Blizzcon, and Boubouille, long-time source of quality information, thinks he knows what the next expansion is going to be called: Wrath of the Lich King. Obviously this supports previous information pointing to a Northrend-themed expansion, as Northrend is home to Arthas, the Lich King himself. The original post on the MMO-Champion forums claiming this to be the expansion name also asserts that there will be a new class: Death Knight! This seems to be less substantiated, but I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be true. Rumors aside, we'll almost certainly know for sure in just a few days. Are you excited? I am.

As far as the Death Knight rumor goes, the WoWWiki page lends a bit of support: apparently, Death Knight (as well as Necromancer) were originally planned to be classes in WoW, but didn't make it to release. Furthermore, there exists a green called Triumphant Shield of Shadow Wrath, which is confusing as no shield-using classes (Warrior, Paladin, Shaman) can use Shadow magic. This could just be an oversight in the random-enchant-generating code, but it could also be a hint at a Shadow-wielding, shield-using class...

Update: Over at MMO-Champion, they suggest that this is accurate because the link www.worldofwarcraft.com/wrath/ leads to a "forbidden" error, whereas accessing any other non-existent page on the site will give you a "not found" error. Continue to enjoy your rumormongering, everyone!

Update 2: Again from MMO-Champion, the title World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King was found on the web site of Usk.de, which is apparently the German equivalent of our ESRB (i.e. the agency that assigns content ratings to games). It seems to have a "12" rating; although I don't speak German, I assume that means "suitable for 12 and up."

Un DK e corupt prin insasi ideea sa, orice clasa poate deveni pierzandu-si atributele specifice initiale si castigand in locul lor altele "corupte". Cam asa as face eu DK-ul.

Din ce scria am inteles ca vei avea optiune sa-ti faci o noua clasa in ecranul de create char si personajul va incepe la nivel 70 in zona noua.

Maine incepe showul.

Daca-l fac de la lvl 70 ... eu zic ca e varza. E dezbracat la lvl 70? Daca e imbracat cu ce e pe el? O sa aiba si alianta si hoarda? Care e fun-ul sa pornesti cu un char de 70? Unde e legat de lore?

Ideea de DK cum e in zvonul ala e putreda rau. Sa vedem anuntul oficial. Pana atunci restu e poveste-n crengi

Da vere, ce aiurea să mor să faci iarăşi reroll inebuneşti nu alta nu e uşor să levelezi iar chiar dacă ai făcut-o de câteva ori până acum dar asta e prea de tot adică ce se aşteaptă să stăm cu mâinile în sân şi să înghitem totuşi poate îşi revin şi poate astea nu sunt decât speculaţii altfel e chiar nasol şi poate unu' nu vrea să joace hoardă sau mai ştiu eu ce, dar total de acord!
